Sue can you POAS to get an earlier result rather that waiting for BT?thanks for sharing it certainly is difficult but it sounds like your in good hands with good doctors LB and Wazza are two of the best. So you did the embryo testing as well and had normal ones that is good. I can see what you mean if you are already transferring good embryos...regarding the DE's. My embryos all 11 were never tested but they graded fairly good 5AB and 5BB. In hindsight I wish I had tested them but like Wazza says really the numbers speak for themselves, one of them should have stuck. My embryo from the d and c is getting tested so should get an answer as to why it didn't work. Ironically my last one that I lost was my most poorly graded one as well. My better ones were all BFN. I didn't use Human Growth Hormones in my Wazza cycle but it was an option so sorry luv can't help there either. Once again in hindsight I probably should have used it as it might have given my eggies a bit of a boost.

Regarding our journey ... No FS has actually told us to go the surrogacy route.. I also just try to keep exploring my options after all the failures... I have had 4 failures with blastocysts with LB ( 2 out of which were pgd tested chromosomally normal)... So I just seem to have lost confidence in the whole thing.. I have a fifth one inside me .. Let's see..

I was so confident about my implantation when I had 2 out of 4 day 2 embies stick which later miscarried due to random chromosomal abnormalities which was the only reason we shifted from Mivf to Monash as we wanted to take them to blastocysts and test them... Never had I thought that implantation problems would crop up out of the blue...

LB and Wazza both think that surrogacy might not be the appropriate way out and they want to work more on the embryo quality even after getting pgd normals... Which LB has tried this cycle.. She added many things like growth hormones.... Which got me slightly different results from previous cycles as I had a blast on day 5 rather than day 6.... Really doesn't know if that means anything at all and not at all hopefull as it was only a C grade hatching blast.

Has anyone had any positive experience by adding human growth hormones in their cycle?

NL also diagnosed us with the stupid partial DQ alpha match which is doing my head in and suggested the controversial and risky LIT therapy as one of the treatments... Which we havnt done this cycle as LB and Wazza were against it. When we took the results to LB .....she literally laughed sarcastically and said every couple in the world .... If tested would have some or. The other sort of match with each other and just don't bother about it. She said if she tested with her hubby , even they would find a match.. She gave us paperwork from the blood bank which was against the LIT treatment and said she would do everything else for NK cells except LIT as she doesn't believe in dq alpha.. So here it gets confusing as LB and NL both are the top doctors in Mel... NL said we could try LIT but if you want the easier option out ... Try surrogacy... I was like easy??? Even that's not easy.. Anyways we started researching abt India as an option which was fine and slightly reasonable than other countries , but last month they have banned it too because people do all sorts of stupid things like baby Gamy and others have to suffer...

DE is not the option for us right now because if we are making blasts, testing them and hopefully getting normals, them and still they are not sticking , then changing the egg won't do any better because there is some unknown frucking problem in my oven which doesn't let them implant........ It's so ironical in my case .. The 2 wrong embies stuck and miscarried and the 4 right ones havnt.. Let's see what this C grader inside me does... May be intralipids growth hormones etc etc do something... But all said and done u really need to be lucky in the end...

sorry for for the long post girls but as mon is coming near.... I am just dreading the bt more and more and if it's a bfn.. The sadness over the Christmas period... Etc.. So I thought u lovlies are the best people to shar my heart felt feelings and feel slightly lighter...

Sue, I think you have a great chance too. it seems to me the lower grade ones work more often. a hatching one sounds perfect, no matter the grading.

Bongley .. yes it was hatching on day 5 morning. But a grade C ... No it was not tested as LB said she wanted to transfer 1 fresh and then pgd the rest of them ... so good to hear that your ds was an early blastocyst when transferred...

@Charlie74 just a quick little note hun.... If you saw an egg donor that you had an immediate gut reaction to I'd ask the clinic if she is close to her family limit. Just in case she's up to her last donation and then you can't use her in say, 6 months time. It doesn't mean you need to progress with her, but just to know where she's at and her donation history.
Of course, with all my heart, I'm hoping you don't need the donor egg option.

@BlondeinBrisvegas I was hoping you'd chime in to tell me what was 'normal'!! So it was just my hcg that was low then?! Getting the official result is always a kick in the guts, even when you know it's negative, so today I feel like sh~te. It's also my mums bday today, who died suddenly 5 months ago. And my ex is very very difficult. I have a sick cat and a sick son. Plus it's 35c. Plus I cut my Pred down from 25mgs to 15mgs and I'm a jittery mess. I should have listened to @Bongley and gone down to 20mgs, so I'll up it to 20mgs tomorrow and hope I feel better. Bib I'm just about to email your estrogen support/lining suggestions to Dr LR at CFC for him to review my notes with fresh eyes. I feel at a complete loss about how to make the next two embryos stick.
It seems like quite a few of us are a right Royal mess this week. Huuuuge hugs to all the girls doing it tough.
Sorry Luv, I shot that reply off quickly without finishing what I wanted to say!! Got bloody sidetracked with the ph and had to attend to a call. Anyhoo....What I also wanted to add was that if you were thinking that starting the PIO shots a day late was a reason that you got a BFN it wasn't Luv ok?? So put that thought right out of your head!!

Yes...It frucking hurts bad Luv..all BFN's do although it must sting that little bit more because of going down the donor route and I'm just so sorry your grief over the Cycle is being compounded by all these extra factors especially your Mum which I totally understand how that feels, your son and poor kitty cat being ill and you being ill too weaning off the Pred in frucking 35 degree heat with a PIA ex to contend with as well!!!

I think all you can do is rule things in/out as to why they're not sticking. Is it the embryo?? or is it the environment?? or is it both?? Dr LR has some insight to offer you.

I also send much love and lots of big, big to all of you Lovelies doing it so very hard at the moment. I wish I had a magic wand to wave about and fix it all. My Xmas wish this year is for all of you to get your BFFP's asap on whatever path you choosexoxoxox

@Bongley - personally I will be sticking my head in a bottle of champagne - in fact intend to start this weekend. (Naughty I know but won't be mixed with stim meds and I figure if drug addicts can still get pregnant a bit of champagne isn't going to hurt).

yes happy birthday @winsor!! 45 is the new 35, shame our biology doesn't understand that. Glad you've broken the back of your uni work, I should take a leaf out of your book but I am sat here pretending to work and I will be 'working' from home tomorrow then it's full on google and pee sticks.

Slight burning/cramping here. Come on Incy, get on up there.
