@JulieMalooley I'd have to have a little bit of a giggle if your daughters have morphed into little boys in two weeks time! I'm really sorry to hear of your roid too. Blood squirting on the wall, oh my!! I hope you feel relief today.
@Bongley As much as I've teased you about having twins, Incy and Wincy, I really hope there's just one gorgeous little heartbeat in there. As an oldie of a little boy myself your words well and truly resonated with me! My next CT transfer will be a single transfer.
Thanks for all of your advice on Ubiquinol girls. I'll take the CoQ10 back to the chemist.
I've rang 5 Melb women's ultrasound clinics today. I can only have an anesthetic if my gyno organizes it. Dr M in Sydney who gave me the referral wants me to organize the HyCoSy myself.
So do I go ahead with a HyCoSy with just Endone and Valium??
CFC won't do my next transfer without me having done the HyCoSy & I'm due to start my next cycle in Feb.
I also can't have it done for 2.5 wks, when I get to day 4 of my next cycle even though I've very clearly explained that there is absolutely ZERO chance of me being pregnant.

Mmmm, that would be my story. I went to the first scan alone only to be told nothing was developing other than the sac. I waited three weeks and went back for the to re-scan alone, to be told my baby had died. I never saw a HB at any stage, and dealt with the whole thing on my own.

It was unfortunate (in so many ways, of course) that DH was not there, because he never felt this was real. But he never had the build up and let down of expecting to see a bubba and a HB and in the end just seeing a still screen. It was very real to me.

I think it's best to take someone with you. Not that I expect a single thing to be wrong love, but I really wish now that I had someone with me for support. Even if my story had turned out differently I would still have liked DH to have been there to see bubba for the first time.

@Tahli, it will be a relief when you can just have that procedure behind you - it sounds like one great big stress ! Single transfer ??? Pffft. I see another double coming your way..
Yes, I have a lot of relief today for my poor freckle. That damn grape is about a third of the size at the moment so here's hoping that another full day off sitting on my butt at the computer (which is not recommended) will not allow it to go back to its former glory. I tell you what, the fruit/nuts/bircher/veges etc that I'm loading up on have definitely helped my constipation issue.

Hi ladies, I have been reading along but have been too tired to post much.

Thanks for the giggles though, gosh you are all quite funny!

I used ubiquinol that I bought from iherb, much cheaper than here, can't remember the brand though 😞

Julie I was reading an article recently where Drs in the U.K. Had been researching dna in de babies and found traces of the carrying mothers dna in the baby.

    Oh I'm in Sydney.

And to add to the grossness I have an ingrown hair on my thigh quite high up near my knicker line - it's been there for a while I was able to get some of the gunk out of it but no more. Was on antibiotics to prevent infection from dental work over Xmas (have cracked my tooth under a crown, dentist wanted to extract it, I said no way, not till bubba is out) and it went down a bit, but still there so I guess I'm back to the gp for more antibiotics😁 I read I shouldn't be squeezing it cos it can put the pus into my blood ******? God my hormones are playing havoc with my body😔

Ugh ingrowns. Sometimes they take so loooong to get rid of! How far are you now @Chiefsgirl? Around 23 weeks?

Cheeky @JulieMalooley!! It'll only be a single transfer. One of them has to be with 3 embryos left. I'm so over it at this stage. I just want to do the transfers and come what may.
I've hit a stale mate on the HyCoSy so I'll just have to do it with Endone. I'll ask them to flush the tubes last as I need them to look at the uterus and endometrium first. The tubes are irrelevant with a donor embryo...correct? That way if I can't tolerate the pain then the two most important parts will have been examined. Does that sound like a plan?

Holy nora that has flown !! I'm approaching 18 weeks and I can't believe it either. I reckon I'm spot on half way now. My uterus is about 6cm above my navel already. For singletons I was just reading that it will reach the navel by 20 weeks - mine reached it at about 15 weeks from memory At least that seems to confirm that I still have two growing bubs. I'm hoping that the one with the VCI isn't under sized at the next scan.
Btw, has anyone seen the whale shark footage that channel 7 are playing to death at the moment? That's my DP touching it, and his mate being interviewed. I'm so jealous. They go fishing regularly for 3-4 day stints (DP has a commercial fishing licence) and see whales and sharks all the time, and now a whale shark !! He won't take me whale watching because they are old news to him. Well buddy, I haven't seen a real whale yet !!! Me, me, me, me, me !!!

Good plan @Tahli, yes in my opinion the tubes are far less important.

I wouldn't know where my uterus is now or when it moved. Never gone exploring to find position or feel of cervix either!

Gosh I'm not really good at this stuff! How do you know?
