@Sue77 Yeah, I heard of a couple recently who budgeted around £85k. Ouch!! When discussing egg donation/surrogacy in Thailand with a staff member at CFC who has been in the game a looong time, he said that where one door closes another opens. For example India closing it's doors to surrogacy then another country will open theirs. I just hope you can find a more comfortable option than the Ukraine.

@Sue77 from memory i think you have embryos but needed a surrogate to carry them? Hopefully this will make the price a bit cheaper. I would be hesitant about going to the ukraine. What about greece or eastern europe?

It was only supposed to be a few hours in hospital, so obviously something went wrong, although I've since heard it is usually very painful. I wouldn't want that whilst pregnant... I don't know that I'd have it again - the cure was worse than the problem. Plus they came back pretty quickly (painkillers following accident)...

    My sympathies.
@Gagingi, yes I had my last gigantic one drained then banded but it was also external. I've never really suffered from internal ones that I know of. Yes it was uncomfortable but definitely not excruciating. Even if it was, a couple of days of excruciating pain is definitely better than probably 8 or more months of huge discomfort - who's kidding who, when twins come along I won't get to a Dr for god knows how long.

Girls, I need some painkiller advice. I have my HyCoSy referral in front of me from Dr M. I'd like to have it done next week. What's the most hard core painkillers I can take to block out the pain? I really wanted to have this done under anesthetic. Endone with Valium maybe?? Help!!

Ah jeeze, it sounds awful. Surely they can do something?? Lancing your own roids sounds less than ideal

Hey @JulieMalooley! Babe don't operate on your roids!! They are very vascular and you could end up with some blood loss that you don't need right now. Or an infection! Can you try witch hazel? Not sure if it's ok for pregnancy but Google maybe? Or go to health food store and ask if they have something safe?
Tahli I don't know if you've had endone before but it is quite strong and I think would be too much with Valium. Maybe one or the other. Are you sure they will not give you any sedation/painkillers when you go for procedure? Maybe ring and tell them you have low pain threshold or something. Sometimes they have something available but don't always offer.

Yes Luv.....Endone with Valium is what I took for my Endo Scratch/Lipoidal Flush that I had done in Wazza's office.
