    Default Thoughts on the name...

Nyjah for a boy? Pronounced like Elijah but a niii sound instead of eli?

I'm not pregnant and if i were we have had a boys name picked for the last 5 years so the point is moot anyway but i just watched a show with a famous skateboarder with the same name and i really like it.

    Curious on others opinions....

It's not for me but I tend towards the traditional names. I don't hate it though.

Nah, does nothing for me. I wouldnt have even known how to pronounce it. I would assume the J was silent and pronounced it to rhyme with Myer.

It sort of reminds me of Nigel when I pronounce it correctly.

I think it's a fancy way of saying the nasty word for black people

    Default Thoughts on the name...

I just googled him to see if his name had to do with his ethnicity, he was raised in Puerto Rico with a strict Rastafarian upbringing, I assume the name is related to that? But when I googled the name meaning and origin nothing comes up. Anyways, it suits him but not for me.

I love the sound of it, but spelling/pronunciation'your name is WHAT?' is always an issue with unusual names.
