Default Which name do you like...thanks

    Hi everyone,

my husband and I are having a hard time choosing a name for a boy. We already have a daughter, Arabella.

Our main contenders are: William Jack or Archie Jack. (Jack is a family name). And our surname ends in s.

We also like: Mack, Alfred and Albert (albie).

Thank you for any feedback on our choices so far! And do you think arabella and Archie is too much?

William Jack is my preference. William and Arabella sound really beautiful together.

I think William and Archie are both lovely but I'm more drawn to Alfred (Alfie) and Albert (Albie) because I LOVE them!

I think you could rule out Mack if you want Jack as a middle name - Mack Jack a little too similar.
I like William Jack out of the names you have mentioned. Have you thought of Archer (with Archie as the nickname)??? I think it sounds a bit more formal and a little stronger than Archie and probably goes better with Jack.

Thanks for your replies! It's lovely having some feedback. And don't worry, we wouldn't be so cruel as to call him Mack Jack we'd have to pick an alternative middle name. But Mack is lower on our list anyway. Thanks everyone

I love Archer with nick name of Archie. That's what my DD was going to be called if she was a DS

Of your two faves I like both but think I like Archie better but only marginally.

I am biased tho and prefer one of your others, my DS1 is Albie and I still LOVE his name so I go for that
