    Default How much is ivf?

    I'm going to start ivf in a couple of months but before I get into it just wondering what it costs roughly?
    I have been on clomid as I don't ovulate but that's all our issues are but it hasn't worked after a year so this is next step..

    For those wanting to know its about $6000 out of pocket at my clinic.. Close to $10000 without Medicare or health insurance. That's for an egg collection cycle cheaper when you have eggs already in freezer ready to go

    I went full service 2y ago, it was 7500 with about 5500 back ( Medicare first cycle so that included teaching the threshold) plus 1600 egg collection but private health paid that bit. So I was pretty happy, had budgeted a lot more! And it worked! From memory frozen was about 2300 ish but no Medicare rebate....
    Plus my fs recommended progesterone even if levels in blood were ok once pregnant so that was almost another thousand to take me to 12w I think.... But that bit is hazy!
