    Default Quick go to dinner for lazy nights

    Thanks everyone. Some of these suggestions sound so yum I might add them to next weeks meal plan to make my week easy.

    I ended up dicing the chicken and throwing it in a pan with garlic, honey, whole grain mustard, chicken stock and cream to make a sauce, served with steamed veggies. Didn't take long and was really yummy. Df can do the dishes 😜

    Stirfry - grab a bag of pre-cut stirfry veggies, packet of stirfry strips of chicken or beef, a pack of noodles and a jar of sauce. Takes less than 10 minutes to cook.

    Easy peasy and somewhat healthy.

    Tuna & mayo on toast.
    Canned tomato soup with grilled cheese toast dippers.
    Jaffles- baked beans n cheese.
    Frozen $3 Coles pizzas
    Frozen fish & chips in the oven
    Reheated something:
    Spaghetti bog, frittata, risotto etc.

    Party pies warmed in the oven

    Pasta with a jar of pesto stirred through

    All can be accompanied by a side of frozen veg either steamed or microwaved or warmed in a pot of water (not boiled cos they turn to mush)

    Frozen peas corn & carrotts are a Mummys best friend. They go with everything.

    My favourite easy options are:
    * pre-made quiche (I buy vacuum-sealed ones from Coles that last a month in the fridge)
    * tinned soup with toast
    * a packet of dry (just add milk and water) pasta served with a microwaved potato and peas
    * tacos
    * Latina-style pasta and sauce (I always have one each of these in the fridge as a back-up)
    * bread roll with pulled pork (pre-cooked from the Coles meat section, just heat it up) and coleslaw (pre-made from the deli section)
    * meatballs and spaghetti (I buy pre-made meatballs, fry them and add a bottle of Leggos-style tomato pasta sauce).
