There is limited space unless you by more.

In settings go to general then to storage and icloud usage. Think you can turn it on there. Mine is already on

Thank you! I really appreciate your help. So if I go on my apple laptop, could I view my iPhone photos??

Also out of these two options, which is better (it did pick the top one on its own)

Any device signed into your icloud account including a windows pc should be able to access you icloud storage

As for the options its a case of personal usage . the top one seems to make good sense but if you dont go near using all your space then the other option would be fine.

I would still try and back up from time to time so you have a copy besides the cloud and your phone.

Oh that's confused me, so do I keep it off? If yes how do I back up myself? I'm sorry for all the questions

I think you can choose a manual back up either from yur phone or download direct from the cloud. Theory is the cloud is safe.

You need iTunes on your laptop. You can use it to back up your phone and transfer your photos & videos to your laptop.
