@frogpossum & @Bellydance oh thanks so much for the tips. Yeah, the little one will be 4 months old so I HOPE he fits into a bassinet!! How on earth did you travel on your own with two!! Wow, I am in awe, seriously. I went back to the UK when my boy was 1 and went without him There will be two of us adults this time.

I love the UK at xmas but I haven't experienced it with children........so I think we will go for three weeks. Thanks for the advice gals.

Hi everyone, I always think I need to jump on Bub hub but mummy life is crazy atm with struggling to breast feed and lack of sleep. I have a question not sure if anyone had issues with their bubs hips Paed said he has mild hip dysphasia and another u/s in 5-6 weeks to check it's getting better in the mean time do double nappies.
Question is how will his clothes fit? Buy bigger sizes and the top part with be huge bottoms won't fit . Can I put cloth nappy over his clothes and it still do its job?

So sorry to hear that Missalina, HD is very common in my husbands family so I was on the lookout for it with both kids but so-far seems fine. Just a thought....what about these stretchy pants?? If not yeah, just buy bigger as he'll be wearing the bigger sizes before you know it anyway so they won't go to waste Xx

Thanks @Ladydee I'll probly go buy some on Monday I'm just imaging this huge bulky cloth nappy lol so maybe it won't be as bad as I'm imagining I'll see how it looks once I put it on, do you think if I put the pants on the cloth nappy over the top it'll still do the same job?

@Nezz79 good luck for Friday! Please update us as and when you get chance @Bongley oh go for at least three weeks! Christmas and NY in England is so much fun! I am desperate to take DH and DD there so they can experience a 'proper' Christmas hahahaha, I will never get used to it being hot, much as I love it! You can wear all your warm clothes and scarves and boots and drink mulled wine and have roast turkey. Oh you will have so much fun! Evie was 15 mths when we went to Thailand, they gave us the bassinet seats and the bassinet and although it was too small for her she did manage to sleep in it for a couple of hours with her legs bent at the knee and sticking out of the top! @Bellydance how are you going lovely, do you have a transfer date yet? Crossing everything for you
Hi @frogpossom hope you are doing okay in Ireland. Did you and DH decide what to do about staying there? @miissalina sorry to hear about the HD, I don't know much about it but I think its pretty common? I hope you manage to get the nappy thing sorted out

AFM, now 10+4 and am getting a tummy already. Its pretty hard to hide the second time around! Have told a couple of people but waiting until after the 12 wk scan which is booked for next Friday. We are very happy and excited but its tinged with sadness really, I feel like there is so much sad stuff going on at the moment. DH's dad is in palliative care and has been given between 4 weeks - 6 months to live, my dad has had to have spinal surgery which hasn't gone as he'd hoped and I've just found out that my sister in the UK is now in a mother and baby unit for anorexia. So we are okay and I think this baby might be able to bring some happiness to everyone

    Hi to everyone else xx

@Molros good luck for Friday. Sorry also to hear about everything else that is going on in your life. My dad is also very unwell and it is very tough.
Pat this stage looks like transfer will be Monday or Tuesday. Would love to have the same success as you but I am not getting my hopes up. It took a few goes last time so i expect the same this time. At least this time I know it can happen. Who am I kidding I can't help thinking about it working first up but hopefully won't be quite so devastated if it doesn't.
