I do believe there is so much that we do not know yet about the human body including genetics.

And it is so hard being a parent and wanting to do everything you can to keep them from harm.

For me, I was always pro vax. I still am terrified every time I have a vaccination or DS/DH has one that something may happen. But I have no family history of any reactions both in close and extended families and rhe same with DH's family. So for me I believe that more harm can come to my family if I did not vax. If that makes sense?

I hope in studies and future years we can pinpoint who is nost affected by vaxes (if at all) - because the other reason I vax is to help those who cannot. I hope that makes sense.

Basically, you obviously have a background where you can understand a lot more of the scientific data/studies than me! And you need to make the decision based on what you believe is the right choice from the information you have.

Yes, it may be different to my choice. But I respect that choice knowing you believe you are doing the right thing from all the info you have.

Good luck. And it is a very touchy topic I know.

It makes perfect sense Twinklify : Thank you for your post. I have always been pro vax too, and so has all my family and nobody has had any adverse reactions or damage. So for that reason too it has taken me a lot to even question vaccination. It's a bit of a minefield. I also fully respect that you vaccinate and your reasons because like you say, we all want to do what is best for our families and we use the best information we have to make our decisions. That's all anybody can ask for.

It really is such a touchy topic! I wish it could be more easily broached!

Thank you for your heartfelt reply xx
