Dior powder. Urban Decay eye primer.

Previously I used to use MAC eye products, but twice I had their liquid liner dry out on me in a short amount of time, so I gave up. I also found the wear of their eye shadows wasn't long enough for me.
Did you use the proper base for the MAC eyeshadow? Without the cream base they don't last long, they're really designed to be used over the base. When I use it with the base it easily lasts 24 hours (ie. It's still on a day later if I sleep with my makeup on).

@Mod-Nomsie i wear 'strong' Adele like eyeliner almost every day. That's my signature look with mascara.

Well almost Adele like but more zoe deschanel (sp) like.

Yep that's the one I've got. Their eyeshadow lasts all day and night with this stuff. People comment on how it looks like I just put my makeup on in the evening!

My favourites for natural but beautiful are Lisa Eldridge, Shameless Fripperies (Karima McKimmie) and Monika Blunder.

I wear makeup daily too but looking for a new not too pricey foundation. I really like the look of the news women - think Sylvia from Today. But less eyeshadow for everyday wear. The always have a very glowing/luminous look. Any foundation recommendations to get that look without it looking glittery?

How does everyone else apply their foundation? This year for the first time I started applying mine with a brush. It looks heaps better than just rubbing in with the fingers (I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that it hadn't occurred to me earlier to use a brush!). I'm not a fan of makeup sponges...seems unhygienic to me. At least I can wash my brush with liquid soap or a drop of shampoo.

I actually just finished watching a Lisa Eldridge video talking about this very thing.

She isn't a fan of sponges for that reason. I am going to get some brushes now, I've always just used my fingers. I had no idea about using brushes for foundation!
