I've always had the same smudgy eyeliner problem too.
I recently bought a Mac eyeliner gel and it is awesome. It comes in a little glass pot and you apply with a thin brush. It takes a little practice but now I find it easy.
Instead of my usual black I bought brown, which seems to be less ageing and more flattering (blue eyes, blonde hair).
I keep meaning to go on Facebook and leave a nice comment about the girl who helped me out at Mac, she was fantastic.

Yes MAC Fluidlines are awesome. There's heaps of YouTube videos to show you how to apply them as well.

I always use a gel liner. It doesn't move at all. I agree MAC is a good one and I think Maybeline might have a good one too. I always prime my eyes anyway, you can just use a concealer and set it with powder. Plus if you want to be really sure use a good quality black shadow on top.

Either the UD Gwen blush palette or the NARSicist blush palette.

Does anyone use a lip & cheek tint?

Years ago I had Jemma cosmetics one (showing my age here) which I quite liked.

Is Benefit Benetint worth the price, or is there a good cheaper alternative?

Not sure if it's cheaper but I quite like the Becca beach tint.

Default 'Make-Up Aficionados' lets chat here...

@Mod-Degrassi, I'm a big user of lip/cheek stains, I'm always trying out different ones and love Benefit's Benetint (Rose) on my cheeks as it stays on and gives a nice stain, whereas not so good on the lips. With the lips I find it a bit too sheer and with not much staying power as the cheeks, though good enough for a hint of colour.
Another Benefit product you might like is their 'High Beam' it's gorgeous on the cheeks, brow bones etc, I use it to highlight as well.

At the moment I've been using a lovely Josie Maran lip/cheek stain called 'Argan Infinity' lip and cheek creamy oil in the colour 'Timeless Coral'. Coral used to be the domain of old ladies ☺️ but not this coral colour, it's divine! This one's super hydrating on the lips (due to the oil) but not all greasy like some. It stays on my lips and cheeks and gives me a blushed appearance. I'll take a pic of it.

eta: if you want to try the Benetint but don't want to fork out too much for it, buy a mini one, I think they come in 5mls, or buy a mini pack, which I love about Benefit products.
