Where do you lovely ladies source your high end make up?
My diorskin foundation is running low (gift from dh) and I can't bring myself to pay full price at David jones. I love it but can't justify that cost.
Is this kind of stuff ever on sale?

I have never sourced makeup from overseas. With the US dollar it may not be worth getting it from there.

It doesn't go on sale but do you have vouchers for DJ's or Myer? I always use reward vouchers for stuff like that.

Someone might have a better option.

Oh, have you looked st the Sephora aus website? They might have a signup deal/voucher but not sure if they sell Dior...

I used to buy a lot from US department stores and have it shipped over but With the dollar as it is, the purchase price and shipping costs just don't make it worth jt.

I've never found high end on sale either

I think you're going to have to bite the bullet and buy at DJs

DJ's has a $20 gift card w $200 cosmetics purchase this weekend... Some of the high end brands do gift with purchase but I'm not sure if Dior does.

Question: what's the best way to set eyeliner so it doesn't smudge? Should I be using an eyelid primer?

I apply it in a fairly subtle way yet I've had it smudge both underneath the eye and above the eyelid.

Yes, primer may help. You can also set it with black eyeshadow.

What kind of liner are you using?

    This.
    Black shadow can set eyeliner.
But I think it depends on the liner. Some just smudge on me no matter what. Like lancome mascaras, they always smudge on me no matter what !

I just bought a cheap e.l.f one. I've used various brands in the past and they all seem to smudge. I think I have oily eyelids :/

I've always had the same issue; I apply subtly and I use a primer. I just bought a waterproof one because it's so him up here, and I've found it seems to stick better. I've got less smudging even though I seem to be constantly sticky. Maybe try a waterproof one?
