Default Toddler missing tooth (no space for it)

Anyone else had their child miss a tooth?

My daughter is 2 now and was always a late teether. I noticed one of her bottom incisors hadn't come through but didnt think much of it as i thought that maybe it would come through. Well now that the other teeth have come through it looks like she wont have one.
I'm wondering if this has anything to do with her hormones as baby.... a couple of things happened like lactating from her boobies.
Doctors weren't concerned when she was a newborn, just seems so interesting i think.

(P.s yes she is booked to see a dentist to see what they say).

My son now 20 didn't get 10 teeth. He never formed them as a foetus. He has false teeth now to make up the 6 he is missing. The other 4 were wisdom teeth so they don't matter.

we never knew about the missing teeth until he started losing baby teeth
