    Default Concerned about bruising

How could my 6.5 month old baby who is making attempts at crawling all the time and rolling a lot but is not fully mobile get a bruise like this?

I'm really concerned as it's such an unusual spot for two bruises right on her abdomen and just above her bottom and they are so evenly shaped.

Is it definitely bruising? Not ink or something from clothes?

I'm not usually one for freaking out with babies, but...if that were my bub, and I didn't have any good explanation for it, I'd be straight off to see someone!

I'd be off to the GP if I couldn't figure out a definite cause.

My only thought would be has she rolled over the top of something. For example, my ds used to end up with bruised knees because he would crawl over dd's sharp little peppa pig figurines.

Unknown bruising worries me a little so if it really was unexplained, I would head to the Dr

Looks to me like something has pinched her to make that bruise. Perhaps she's rolled onto something and got her skin caught..

I'd take her to the GP just to be sure

Looks like pinching to me too and I worry that it was someone and not something. I can't believe that would be the case but I live with my in laws and she is with lots of various people.

She's down for the night.. Take her to the GP in the morning? I am able to get an after hours appointment but it doesn't seem like I need to do that..it's bothering me a lot to be honest.
