Don't you just love looking at Christmas trees that kids have decorated? Everything down at the bottom, naked branches at the top! I'm a bit obsessed with my tree. Everything has to be even or I won't be able to sleep at night!

Before I put any candy canes on the tree, 3 yo DD was begging me for "stripey J's" and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what she meant! I seriously love that your dd calls them stripey J's. It is so amazingly cute.

Here's ours. I made myself let go of the need for perfection this year and actually let DH & DS help decorate, lol. They did well. Its not 'perfect', but it is perfect

DS is obsessed with pulling the bells off though and dancing around singing "balls, balls, balls, I got balls" to the tune of Jingle Bells :') Lol, bless his cotton socks!

This is why my tree went up magically over night and there is gates so she can't get in the front room without me.
She loves to watch it and doesn't touch because mumma says.
I can imagine what would happen if she was left alone with it though.
