Default Leg waxing and ipl questions

I have just started getting leg waxes. Now after 3 weeks there is hair again like some just ripped. Is that right or is my wax lady no good? How often do u get them waxed?

Also I have blonde hair so I don't think I can get ipl hair removal can I ? Anyone have experienced with that? Thanks!

Ok so just had it done again and when I go in sun it looks like some are like 2mm short and some on knees not even waxed! But I tried with some of my own wax and my hairs don't even rip out so not her fault I suppose.. Weird

I broke up with my waxing girl after I found the hairs were breaking off as opposed to being ripped out. Have since found someone I really like and the results are better.
In your case, no idea. It may be that she's not great or it could be something else. Some beauty therapists have told me that hairs grow at different rates so until you've waxed regularly for a while you might see regrowth faster than expected. I don't know if that's true or a beauty myth though.

I've also been told that IPL is not recommended for me because my hair is light. That it works best on darker hair. Again, no expert, just what I've been told.

I think blonde hairs have thicker roots which is why they hurt more when waxed and yes they break off. You are right that Ipl and laser on work with dark hair roots. There is one that works with blonde hair where they have to zap each individual hair root but I forget what it is called.
