I've constantly had problems with vomiting throughout my life. I would assume I had had been ill almost every week for the past 15 years. But nothing has prepared me for the sickness I have. I am extremely anaemic and can't keep any liquid down for almost 2 weeks. Vomiting up nothing about 25+ times a day. I hope there is an end! I feel your pain and I don't even have children to look after. I have similar work - 12 hour shifts 7 nights a week, it's been awful! Good luck to you,

Default Cant cope with morning sickness any longer!!!!!!

Zoffran now comes as generic wafers so it is more affordable than it used to be, think it's about $40/10 wafers....there are other meds which can be added as well by dr other than just maxalon, see an ob....

I am also suffering big time. Currently 14w4days and been off work since 7weeks. 2 trips to hospital and still vomiting with meds. Can barely get out of bed most days and when I do it's only to move to the couch. Some days I can't even have a shower as I'm so weak. Was told constantly that at 12 weeks it would ease off.. For me it seemed to get worse at that stage! Not enjoying this at all but given its taken 3 yrs to get pregnant I feel guilty complaining.

I am in the same boat - except this is my first baby, and I had no idea morning sickness could be so horrible! I knew it was bad, but nothing like this. I have been in and out of hospital numerous times to get dripped, and each time the doctor has given me a shot of maxolon. I am also on zofran and pyroxin (both anti nausea) and have phenergen to help me sleep, otherwise I am up and down all night dry wrenching!

I am 9 weeks today, and have been told it will be over at around the 12 week mark. My most miserable moment was today when I was sitting on loo - completely constipated, which NO ONE warned me about how that's a thing when you're pregnant - spewing into an empty ice cream container and crying my eyes out. I feel totally miserable, so you are not alone! Xxx
