Day 9: mummy foolishly left the wrapping paper out after wrapping some gifts for family
    Attachment 76175
@DesperatelySeekingSleep our letter that introduced our elf said only mummy or daddy could move her in the morning, back to her perch on the tree. Dd likes to give her a kiss and cuddle though so we've bent the rules a little just put back anything once she is back on the tree

I saw your little elf doll you made, it looks great!

If I did that the ants would go to town.
I haven't had a problem leaving them yet but I also haven't left speinkles on the bench.
I'm sure I've heard most people let mummy and daddy touch them but not the kids. That would work!

I let my kids play with them (shock horror). They "put them to bed" each night on the lounge in the playroom then close the door.

My elves don't move much - our children go to bed so late the elves fall asleep first.

I keep forgetting to take photos. Rosie the elf was found this morning building a duplo xmas tree. DS thought it was hilarious.
