I am using aptamil gold HA. Transition: you do 1/4 new + 3/4 old (day 1), 1/2 new + 1/2 old (day 2) etc.

I have been meaning to open that bottle of wine in the fridge. I think i will tonight. Perhaps it will help me fall asleep. You can still drink. just not before BF.

I can't find aptamil gold ha in supermarket. I'm going to ring the company tomorrow and find out the difference between them.

Open it @bbhope and have a glass. You deserve it!!!

Yes. That's the one i was trying to hunt down!! I have 3 more tins in the cabinet. It will last me 2 more weeks before seeing the gastroenterologist. My bet is that we will be on prescription formula and i'll return the last tin to woollies

I'm going to keep an eye for the next 2 days before deciding. Don't like to switch unless we have to.

I'm going to eat lots of fibre so hoping my BM can help her bowel movement anyway.

Where do you get prescription formula from? Is there any shortage for that?

Have you got the test result back for Bub?

The dr will prescribe. No...in a way, easier. No need to worry about shortage.

That's the frustrating part. Some Dr just cant get on hold of. We don't know the result of why there was mucus in the poo. The new formula is making his poo so runny and green color. It doesn't look normal to me at all.

I think green can be normal for formula fed baby? That's what I've been told. The runny part I'm not sure. I think you need to follow your gut feel and investigate. So far you've done lots of investigation that some GPs didn't even do.

whoa....the day care carer was feeding DS 2 hrs after i fed him this morning and a full bottle too. I didn't know DS was keen to eat soon after 140ml this morning! She is feeding him way too often. I gave two bottles just in case. Strictly speaking, it should have been 1 bottle during that 5 hrs period.

Now, i need micro adjustment for the feed today. Hmm....he doesn't seem to get much nap at all. I can't expect her to spend a lot of time to just get DS to nap, though. DS was napping pretty much the entire time after i picked him up yesterday. Now he is doing the same. I am hoping he will get 2 hrs now so he won't be grumpy in the evening.

What did the carer say about DS? As in what he did etc during her care?

Just saw that nan is changing gold ha into something else. Oh well in that case I really need to look into a new formula.

But I'm going to pump more so she can have more BM instead. Hopefully my supply is good enough so she only have 2 max feed on formula.
