No idea if he is getting used to the new formula. Poo is still runny and green. I called the Dr office but no one can tell me the result but the Dr. Hopefully he gets to review it today.

Yes, he is still vomiting. Reflux is gotten so much worse now. A lot of short scream sessions during his nap. Well, 30 mins each time but i have been trying to bounce him back to nap as soon as he wakes up. I am sitting next to his bouncer...... He doesn't want the swing anymore. Honestly, if he wants to co-sleep with me for nap, i would let him. I want some sleep......

I'll let him self soothe when he isn't fussing around. I don't mind dummy at all. I feel like it is a way for him to self soothe. As i mentioned, he always spits it out whenevver he has had enough of it. I also give him the cuddy now. Only during day time. He likes to put it in his mouth. Nature habit at this stage.

Last night was unusual because he hasn't cried at night for a very long time! Even early 5am wake time isn't a big cry anymore. Most of the time, DH is able to get him back to sleep in small interval until 7am.

@bbhope - how long did the dr tell you to try the new formula before switching and trying another one? Maybe this one is no good for your son and so should move on? Sounds like Nan Comfort worked better?

Poor thing always vomiting. Must be horrible for him. Maybe that's also why he is refusing the bottle? cos he is getting an aversion to the new formula?

Hopefully it was just an off night and ds will give you some sleep tonight. I gave ds a little comforter but doesn't work. He plays wiht it but doesn't help him to sleep. I bought a LTD swaddle today stage 1 6-8 kg one. Wonder if he'll like it. DS is now 5.95 kg so almost 6kg....moved up a percentile. Must be all that formula we have been giving him this week. His cheeks look nice and rosey now too...maybe some vitamin in the formula that i was lacking in my breastmilk?

@bbhope so sorry the reflux has gotten worse. When can the Dr give you the result? It would be so upsetting seeing him suffering like that. You are a strong mumma
@Gelati wow 10 hours. That's great effort! But you are right. It's day by day. For me it's feed by feed lol. I think formula could have stuff that he doesn't get from your BM and vice versa. So mix feed is a balanced diet. That's how I convince myself anyway haha.

Ladies I wish my Bub will spit dummy out when she's calm. We wouldn't have to ditch it. Anyway it's day 3 with no dummy. Today we were out literally the whole morning and arvo. She slept in the pram, car, and bjorn. No fuss. She was fascinated by all the people etc. she didn't miss dummy and now we just need to get through the night.

I feel like she's learning to self soothe a bit more but who knows. I could be just imagining things. But I also feel like she wants to feed more and more regularly. Could be comfort thing or she's just growing more. I hope I don't overfeed her.

@bbhope when do you plan to start him on solid? Would that help or make it worse?

@Minib - wow what a good little girl! Did you bottle feed while out or breastfeed and how did you get her back down to sleep or did she doze off herself? I can't believe it I'm so jealous! I went to see the mhn today and he screamed after being out for 30min. Brought him home and straight to sleep. Sigh. He doesn't like going out. Slept for 1 hr, another solid breastfeed and now he's been down for over 3 hrs!! What the?? It's gonna be party tonight I think he's never slept so long during the day before. Only fed 3 times today!!

Haha balanced diet yes that's what I'm telling myself too 😝😝

Default Day 5 blasto FET on day 4? #3

The Dr said 2--3w but appt in 4w. Yes solid will help but he has to be physically ready. Like holding neck stable and not pushing food (reflex).
@Minib: do what u have to do to wean off the dummy. Wow...yes, jealous. I don't put DS in the car unless DH is with me. Well, in about a week time, I will have to do it to put DS to the family day care for few hrs while I sleep. DH will be out of town for a week! Nervous.

@Gelati I BF plus bottle top up. I found somewhere quiet and did it but also BF in the car today. She dozed off herself the whole day today. What a champion. I think she likes the motion of moving so she fell asleep.

Gelati you never know. Sleep promote sleep at this age I think.

Well as I'm typing this DD is fussing and fighting the sleep. See it's feed by feed. One sleep at a time. It's always different.
@bbhope you can do it. Tell DS to be good for you and hopefully he cooperates.

The problem with DS is that he likes to be quiet to sleep. He is very sensitive to noise. We didn't know about it early on. He is now sleeping in the bouncer again with the cuddy and dummy. I have two cuddies....might buy a new one with cotton material. I don't let him use it at night. Nap is fine since i supervise him. No luck with cot again. I think we will try to train him to know that cuddy means sleep time. Yes, another sleep association but if he can self settle with it, i won't worry about it.

Not strong enough. He can hold it up for few mins. He can turn left and right with his chest high and supports with the arms. That's all. They can roll only after their neck muscle is strong enough.

She's been awake for 3 hours. Won't sleep. Feeding time again now probably. Sigh!!!
