@Tanej78: yeah lucky 13. Great number! Fx for good fertilisation rate!!!! Glad to hear DH is around for few days!
Fx that most of it makes it to day 5!
Afm, signed up with the ngala. Bub is still very difficult to settle. The swing? Not so much luck with it. I still have to pat him to sleep in my arms and I have to find the right moment to put him into the swing. If not, back to resettling. Once he is in it, if he doesn't get woken up, 1hr is max. I don't know why everyone is telling me that their baby loves swing. I am trying hard on the every 3 hrs feeding schedule. By the time Bub fell asleep, 3 hrs is up. Then he is hungry again. Sometime he can skip to the next session without a nap. He is tired but just refuses to sleep. I don't get much sleep at night either. Can't wait For weekend so DH can take care of Bub so I can get more sleep. It won't be that bad if he can sleep longer. He is also a catnapper at night but longer than an hr.
The good news is that he cries less. Perhaps pead is right about the purple crying. Hopefully we have gone over the peak. Last week was the worst.
We need to do shopping for furniture etc but it is impossible with Bub. For this instance, it would be good to have my mom around. DH and I rarely have time to talk. The whole evening is just busy with Bub.
@Tanej78 - lucky 8! Keep growing little embies! I think 8 is a great number!
@bbhope I know how you feel. Def no sling for our Bub. I wish ours was like those people who could just wear their baby and get things done. Good to hear crying is decreasing. Hopefully it's on the way getting better. Today I tried white noise you tube video and that made Bub sleep 3 hrs!! Have you tried that? It's called collicky baby white noise video. All the app white noise didn't work but this video worked well. But then Bub woke up so hungry he refused the boob! He was screaming but wouldn't take the boob. Urgh!!! Then for some reason he slept another 2.5 hrs and I had to wake him to feed him. And now he's down for another hr I'm so worried he won't sleep tonight I'm gonna have to wake him again. I don't know what's going on today 😓 The only diff is today he's been sleeping on my mums double bed rather than his cheap little bassinet. Maybe he likes sleeping in a mattress? I might try him in his cot tmr. Maybe he likes a proper mattress better?
It is... but we had 8 at day 5 last time... one transfered, one biopsied... but only 1 extra made it to biopsy, the other 5 arrested.... then of course only 1 of the 2 biopsied were normal... so im trying to stay positive, but just really want a better result than last time...
A good start @Tanej78.
Haha. @Gelati. I am constantly jealous about your Bub sleep time. The trouble is get him to fall asleep and stay asleep. He is a bit fussy today because he skipped through few naps. I gave up the swing and had him on my arms again so he could get some sleep. Still, constantly being interrupted by wind or reflux. Anyway, I don't know what more we can do. Can you send me the YouTube link? I use white noise. it doesn't work. It only helps to cover up other household noise. He seems to be a light sleeper. I only got 1 hr hand free time today. How funny it is for me think about what I want to do once I have the free hand. Lunch? Laundry? Nap?
Oh...kinda mad right now. DH just told me that he has to go back to fix minor things, such as air con remote control needs new batteries, there is a dirty spot on the blind. Come on...how much $$ we have paid for renting. Battery isn't that expensive. Also, it is used, can't expect a brand new blind. It is a very different culture. Back in the U.S., the apartment management will do basic maintenance Even changing the lightbulb. All we have to do is clean up nicely when move out. Not in a million year the RA comes to do maintenance when we requested.
DH spent all 3 days cleaning last week while I was dealing with a fussy Bub aline (at his worst). You can see why I am a bit upsetting. Now he has to take time tmr to pick up key and go there on weekend again. It's an he drive roundtrip. Time better spent at home helping me.
