    @Tanej78 2015 has been another tough year for you. Kiss them away and let's look forward to a great 2016. 2016 will be your best year yet! It will be the year for you to have a baby.
    @bbhope @Gelati give your sons lots of cuddles and kisses. Hope they behave nicely for you today.

    Just us alone with DS. The best present he could give us is sleep.

    @Minib Christmas was tiring this year with a newborn. I think I wore myself out trying to get to functions etc as I am now sick with a cold. Last thing I need and hope Bub doesn't catch it. Feel even more exhausted but how do I get extra sleep to recover? Sigh. To be honest Christmas felt like a chore this year as all I wanted was to stay home and relax. Think I'm just feeling sorry for myself cos I'm sick

    How was ur Christmas?

    Mailbox cleaned!
    @Tanej78: that's good that you spent the christmas with friends.

    Christmas was very quiet for us this year. Just the 3 of us. We didnt do anything special other than taking couple of pics with bub and the christmas tree. Our life is now consumed by getting DS to nap. Who would have thought that it is such a painful process? After being at home with me for full time, DH actually says that i should get a babysitter when he is away for business in few weeks time. It is so exhausting with DS. I hope that next year christmas would be a lot more different but i am grateful to have DS this year.

    @bbhope has your ds sleep pattern improved? Did you managed to get him to have some naps? I feel for you. My girl has been restless at night and it takes over an hour to settle her in the middle of the night. Also she has more 'milk spew' in the last few days. Perhaps I'm overfeeding her? Or she drinks too quickly? It's not spew as it's not smelly. It's just excess milk that she has a few minutes earlier.

    And yes you should get some help. Look for a good nanny. It will really help. Someone can look after ds while you have 3 hours to yourself to shower, eat, fresh air and time to yourself. And get a cleaner too! It's worth paying.

    @Gelati you poor thing. Hope you feel better soon. Cold sucks!!! We had a super quiet Xmas. My parents came over with food so we had a lunch and that's it. We opened presents for DD in the morning. Didn't get to celebrate with my in law and family. Overall our Xmas was so quiet it didn't feel like one at all. Oh dd gave me a present - she poop! Woohoo! We celebrated with a cuppa tea haha.

    Actually I haven't had tea or coffee since I gave birth. I read caffeine Isn't good for milk supply so I've gone cold turkey. I miss tea and coffee!!

    So dd has been good. She is getting better with tummy time. 5 minutes now. More alert more awake time. Not sleeping well at night though. Takes over an hour to settle her. Sometimes after milk either BF or top up, she has a little 'spew' but doesn't smell like spew. And sometimes when BF her, I could her the big swallowing sound and then she took a deep breath as if she's telling me to ease off and stop shoving milk her way lol.

    @Tanej78 hope you are well?

    Did any of your babies have milk rash or milk pimples? My little girl has had them for a few days now. From what I read it's quite common.

    @Minib our had that don't worry it goes away. Good work on getting poop and yay for having enough milk.

    As for us not doing well at all. I'm sick and milk supply has significantly dropped. Maybe by half of more. Ds woke up every 2 hrs last night despite top up of 40ml each time and we are back on formula top ups. I just feel so shattered. After all that hard work to increase supply and ds was getting into a great routine last few days even sleeping longer stretches 6-8 hrs!!! And now all in the bin. I feel so bad for him and I've failed him by not putting us first and stretching myself too thin. So upset right now after 4 hrs my boobs aren't even hard or full. It's a horrible feeling.
