Thanks!!! Nurses didn't tell me and MHN didn't either. I haven't done any tummy time at all. Will start today.

@Tanej78: nothing to say but hugs. Hang in there. Give drM a follow up. You might be looking into Ivig or dqalpha match.
@Minib: cheeky wipe is washable bottom wipe. I am thinking about it but not sure how dedicate I will be for doing such a small load of washing in the washing machine. Especially I don't have free hands.

I must admit. We have been very lazy to give him tummy time. Since 3w, we have been battling with his colicness every day. We started it again last week whenever he is in a reasonable mood. Reflux babies like DS is difficult with tummy time after feeding.

Cheeky wipes are awesome. You chuck them in with your soiled baby clothes and use a prerinse cycle then when they come out you just re stack them for use. Because you use them wet you don't need to hang them on the line except maybe once a month for a good dry out.

@Minib yep start straight away. We couldn't formally do tummy time cos DS didn't have any non crying awake time due to the supply issues etc but we burped him over our shoulder and that seemed to do the same thing as everyone comments on how strong his neck is and how stable his head is. MHN said it counts as tummy time and I guess cos you burp him so much he ended up with heaps of tummy time.

Cheeky wipes are great @bbhope. Just chuck them in the wash after you've finished with them. I bought two packs of the terry towel ones so I have heaps and don't need to wash everyday. They are more delicate on ds's bottom. He still gets nappy rash a bit tho. But from what I've heard it's better than wipes. And you save money! We haven't bought 1 packet of wipes since he was born and still using the samples when I go out hehe.

Bub was better today and back to doing mustard colour poops. Had a weigh in today at MhN and he out in 200g in a week which is good but still light for his age. 35 percentile. But he is 90th for head and height. So tall and skinny! Lol

For the cheeky wipes, does it stink at all? Do u washed the wipes with his clothes? Mixing the poo stained wipes with clothes in wash?

I never heard of reusable wipes. Only have huggies disposable but will look into the other one. Do we need to soak the wipes so it's half clean before chucking into washing machine?

Our baby was born 75% percentile in height.
@Gelati your hubby is tall right?

My little girl hasn't done a poo for 3 days 😢

Nope doesn't stink at all. Still fine now even though we are on to solids. (Solid poos stink a LOT!)

And yeah I throw them in either on their own or in with any clothes that have gotten soiled by a poo explosion.

@bbhope - he is 59.5 at 7.5 weeks. On her chart he moved from 85 to 90 but weight only 25 I think 😓 He currently only weighs 4.8kg. I wish he was 5kg already! In fact I wish he was 5.5 but nurse said 200g a week is enough. Sigh.
Officially you just soak the dirty wipes in this natural oil and then take out and throw in the wash. But we currently just use water so after a wipe even with poo I just rinse under tap and throw in a bucket of soapy water. Sometimes we throw it in the wash but my mum is such a clean freak she hand scrubs them and them dries in the sun so they are still white as ever! Glad to hear they don't stink out other clothes even when on solids @ScubaGal.

@Minib - oh poor thing. Did you tell the MHN? How was her weigh in?

hubby is just normal - 180 but his whole family is very tall and my side is quite tall. I hope he isn't too tall so he can't even find a bed to fit him! Dh brother has that problem.

    Thinking of you at tanej78.

MHN said its fine that she doesn't poo daily. She said Bub should do a poo by this weekend. That's a whole week. Can't be normal??
