    @Meshell23.

    Wow a 12 week sac! I'm sure you're popping with that! Did they say why? Is it an indication you're going to have a big bubba?

    Yay for all the good scan results lately

    I have my first appt with my new OB today. She was lovely. I was really anxious and not sure what to expect (I didn't want to leave my last OB) but I left the appt feeling confident and relieved

    9w2d today. Got to see Bub again on the scan. HB and measurements were all good. Tomorrow is our NIPT test and then 12 week scan 😀 still on the pessaries until week 12 though 😒

    Did you not stay til 12 weeks with Pivet MrsTugs? (I'm actually 13 weeks 1 day...) Maybe it's because I'm keeping Dr R as my Obstetrician?? I don't know really- i just did what he told me to do!

    He was saying not to worry about losing weight and my reply was "I'm not worried, I'm stoked!" With my reserves bub will be fine. Bubs has pushed my belly up and out. I'm starting to look pregnant as opposed to having eaten too much cake. 😂

    Happy that everyone is getting good scan results.😚

    Thats awesome you get to do an early NIPT @Barca07. Ive been told i cant get it done till 10 weeks.

    I have my first OB appt tomorrow. Ive booked consults with more than one OB as I need to find one that has the most confidence and experience dealing with my preexisting conditions during birth.

    @Barca07 no they didnt seem concerned at all I asked if it was an issue they said absolutely not. Totally explains my bump. My firsr born was exactly 5lb born at 37 weeks. So not sure about this one it measured 2cm which was exact for where it should but we will see

    I've actually heard NIPT is not accurate before hand that's why you shouldn't do it early. Any reason you're doing it at such an early stage?

    No peedy I had the 8w BT and that was it. They said I could contact them if I needed to but that it wasn't necessary if I wanted to go to my OB I could. But of course he IS your OB so totally makes sense.

    I met my doula today she's perfect. 20w scan tmrw then follow up appt with OB day after. Excited!!

    @MrsTugs.

    They said you can do it anytime from 9 weeks, and I'll be 9 and a half. They didn't mention anything about reduced accuracy. They did say that if the results come back inconclusive (because it's too early) they re-do the tests... So I guess maybe it isn't as accurate early on, but they redo the test for free.

    I had it done around this time last pregnancy, and it worked.
    I'm just impatient and want the reassurance!
