Oh the rollercoaster ride keeps on rollercoasting!!!
Had another set of bloods today
Hcg has doubled again and is 28k. Doubling times have started to slow as expected but they are still bang on the higher side of normal
    P4 is up to 33.8

    Phew!
    Am shattered

So they've said no more blood tests and now we book a scan .. They can't do it at the clinic til mid jan but will refer me to a private clinic so hopefully I can get in next Wed or Thurs (so 7w0 or 7w1)

Thank you all for the support - I've really needed it this week!!!!!

@woof5105 that is fantastic news! I am so pleased with your numbers, and it's great that the P4 is rising too!
*Phew* hoping your scan shows a nice strong HB!
Mine is next wed too.....excited but nervous too. My BT results came back from Monday as HCG 52000, p4 increased back up to 123 so am feeling a bit more confident now.
My nurse said the same thing- don't need another BT as will have scan next week, but I think I will on Monday, just to ease my mind.
You two (@mrstugs too) take care of yourselves xoxo

That is great news. My FS said they've done studies that show that a woman's progesterone level fluctuated during each day so sometimes you can catch it at a low point.

    Thanks @ScubaGal
It does fluctuate throughout the day but I didn't think it would be by that much.

FN said today with mine going 36, 24, 37, 15, 33 - she thinks it is more just that my body is trying to work out what's going on and trying to adjust to the pregnancy .. All of a sudden I've gone from menopausal to pregnant so that's a huge change for it so it might just be that ...

Am so relieved ... And tired!!!

And convinced that acupuncture is the best thing in the world!!!!!

Are you guys getting morning sickness? My god I am so over it... Again this morning and trying to eat as early as possible to stop it as its so early in the morning I really have nothing to throw up...

It's my only symptom and tiredness but geez it's frustrating... and I so badly wanted this too haha

    Hi everyone,

First-time Bub Hub user here, so I'm still finding my way around

I'm currently 7 wks pregnant. This is our 2nd IVF cycle & first bfp! Eep!

I have my dating scan on Monday - sooo looking forward to it. However, I had an appt on Tuesday with my obstetrician & he gave me a quick sneak peek with his little handheld scanner-thing, so I got to see "Emby", as well as its little heartbeat

Despite the round-the-clock nausea (& vomiting, as of last night...), aching boobs, being ready for bed by 4pm, and the fact that everything stinks, I'm feeling very grateful to be feeling all these things haha.

Question: I'm also a massive acupuncture advocate - I swear by it! Is anyone getting acupuncture for morning sickness? I was seeing my acupuncturist weekly leading up to my transfer (he even did a few home visits to fit me in - such a blessing), so I'm looking forward to getting back into it, especially if it can curb the morning sickness!

Aaaanyway, sorry about the essay haha! Wishing everyone all the best - looking forward to following everyone's journeys xx

@ttc1981, I have hectic nausea. And I'm having a heap of trouble finding foods to eat (I'll feel like something one day, but in the morning, it'll have me dry-heaving). I try to eat early, but it's mainly been fruit. My obstetrician has me on Vitamin B6 tablets (one in the morning & one in the evening), which are my new best friend! They help with the nausea 👌🏽 they live in my handbag now haha!
