Evelynmoo if you google HCG calculator, there are a few different sites where you enter your HCG results, the time difference between tests and it will give you a good idea of how your levels are tracking.

Not sure if any of the calculators are 'endorsed' or officially, so best to take results with a grain of salt..

It's still steadily rising. I would not be concerned at this stage.

Hey @Evelynmoo, did your fs give you any progesterone supplementation? Every time my p4 dropped they advised to up my dosage.....eventually ended up on an extra 800mg/day and am still using that at 17+ wks.....maybe give your fs a call if you are worried? My p4 numbers started in the 120's and slowly dropped into the 80's, but all is good so far with the extra p4

Also, I think at one point my doubling time was down to about 95+ hrs- and I was originally pg with triplets, so it can happen....try not to let it stress you too much- hard to do, believe me I know!

    Fingers crossed all is fineπŸ˜€

Congrats for all the newbies to the thread and scan results! Very exciting!!

I don't think there is a problem Evelynmoo, as my numbers approached and went past 5000 they slowed down considerably and were no longer doubling, my last HCG at 14000 took 96hrs to double to get there. I have read they slow down at 5000. I had scan at 6 w 1 d and measuring on target will heartbeat at 115.

Sorry for lurking, but after a MMC 4 months ago I am very gun shy and still fearful something will go wrong. Ironically with the MMC I had better HCG numbers but measuring behind by a week (IVF) and struggling heartbeat with every scan.

Don't panic, I thought I was a goner with this lot of numbers (even had a drop in progesterone too) and so far this pregnancy looks healthier than the last.

I know it's hard, I struggle each moment of the day but be strong for your little bean πŸ˜ƒ

@Ruby16. I called the clinic and told them that the P4 has dropped from 187 to 175 and now 128 in only 2 days and they still didnt care. I have some pessaries left at home but I only have enough to last for 3 days maybe and obviously clinic isnt going to give me more until I drop below the acceptable rate which might be too late by then.

Had another BT this morning so hopefully get the results this afternoon and if theres another drop in progesterone I will call FS personally not just FN.

Thanks for the support @Pepper1977. Been trying to stay positive, even talking to the bean every night.

No worries @Evelynmoo- I hope your fs listens to your concerns (even if it is just for your own piece of mind) - if not can your gp help you out with extra p4 maybe?

Fingers are crossed for you that all is fine xo

Both GPs dont see the need in monitoring P4 if HCG is going up even though I told them that IVF clinic usually monitors P4 for risk of miscarriage.
