It's not cheap either! $170 per box which only lasts a week!! Are there foods anyone recommends that has prog in them which might help?
Hi misstilly! Unfortunately progesterone isn't produced in any foods, but you can take heaps of things to help your body with its own production ie Vit D and even sunlight. I did a lot of research regarding progesterone when ttc naturally and dealing with my endometriosis (major factor with Endo being oestrogen dominance), one website I found that was quite helpful was www.progesteronetherapy.com .....it has a heap of info on supplements and foods to avoid to help reduce oestrogen dominance (leading to less than ideal progesterone levels)

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers Ruby xo

Thanks @Ruby16, that's super helpful. I might email the nurse then and find out what my prog levels were from my blood tests. Might put my mind at ease. I'll check out that website too! Thank you!

Tully I think that's a good idea to ask what your prog levels are because obviously if your body is managing successfully on its own you really have no reason to worry at all x

    Hi.
Would like to join the group please
have just undergone our first ivf cycle and have been amazingly lucky (so far) in having a bub on board. Had my 7 week scan this morning... All looking good but there does appear to be another sac (asked if I had 2 eggs transferred, but only 1) or it might possibly be an internal bleed below my bubba's sac. Nurse wasn't sure but she was checking with the doctor and said she'd let me know. She didn't think it was too much of a concern... I hope not! Happened to anyone else?
We've had a long road to get 2 of our children. My 2.5 year old DS took 18 months of TTC and 2 miscarriages. This time round was about 20 months of trying before we began IVF.
    Hoping this one sticks around.

    Welcome Gellybean!

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend

I'm 7 weeks today and have my first scan on Monday! Getting excited but mostly nervous... I always get nervous before scans.

Especially anxious as I don't get pregnancy symptoms, so it's hard to believe I'm pregnant when I don't feel it.
Fingers crossed we see a nice strong heartbeat!!

Good luck with the scan barca07! Don't worry about lack of symptoms. I'm 13 weeks and still don't have any so I know what you mean. I don't feel any different... Except for the tiredness! That catches up with me by the end of the day

Im glad im not the only one not getting any strong symptoms. I really only have fatigue and maybe a bit of hunger but i think more frequent urination kicked in last night and today.
    Good luck @Barca07!!

I cried tonight because the inlaws wouldn't get up and go to the pub (it was dinner time and everyone kept asking where are we going but no one would actually get up). Lol. I put myself to bed while they all went out and bought take out. Gotta love hormones.
