You're still very early. I wouldn't be too concerned about symptoms or lack thereof at this stage. Best of luck though xx

Barca spotting is always scary. It's usually harmless. Dr told me to put my feet up and rest as much as possible. Hope it stops soon.

MrsTugs I'm glad I wasn't the only one preparing super early. I felt a bit mental at the time! Today we bought a swing to keep bub off the ground so it's away from the fur babies. We also bought an ergobaby carrier. Hubby was feeling generous and told me to pick out what I want and he'd pay. 😊 then he bought me lunch.

What are everyones thoughts on baby monitors? The only thing I know is I don't think I want one with the sensor pads. I'm not sure we need one at all though. Our house isn't that big!

Wow you guys are organised... I have 4 baby outfits and just bought two more and 4 singlet all in one outfits today... Our family want to buy a few of the bigger items as its the first grand child so we have the cot, pram and bassinet taken care off... It's my birthday in 2 weeks so I asked him to buy me a baby bag as that ticks off an item... Otherwise we just have a chest of drawers, change table mat, car seats and I guess all the odds and ends! We are moving soon so waiting to buy anything
Any tips on cots and bassinets? I have no idea HA

That's a really cool setup! There are some really cool baby accessories.

I'm a really light sleeper and when we had my stepson stay as a baby his snuffling and cute little snores kept me awake. I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep with bub in our room so we'll have to wait and see. The bassinet has wheels so we can move it easily! It's exciting to think about this stuff!

So am I... (Control freak that is) and also hear every sound so wasn't going to have bubs in our room... I'm not sure about a bassinet as well as a cot... Only because we will be moving and transporting so much stuff will be a pain... Too many decisions to make! Baby bunting visit confused me today so will go once we have the 20w scan and know everything is ok... Actually going to Melbourne end of March and there's an expo on when we are there so might drag my partner along and check all the different stuff out instead of being in one shop! Then order it when we are home... I'm not allowed to buy to much till we move anyways so timing will be right

MrsTugs where did you buy your cosleeper from? My husband wanted a wooden one but we didn't see it at Baby Bunting or the other store today (they had material ones)

I can recommend the Baby Jogger city mini as a pram.. It is very sturdy.. Taken it on more than 15 flights as checked luggage and it is still going strong. Easy n quick to fold and unfold and cheap at $450. It lies flat so can be used from newborn. I have a video monitor which I still use to keep an eye on my toddler at night. I like watching her toss and turn at night but she definitely keeps me a wake at night if I have her in my room on holidays etc. A bassinets is really only useful till they start rolling.. Which mine did at two and a half months.. So I wouldn't recommend spending too much on a bassinets vs a good cot. Mine was an early roller. Have fun shopping ladies.. It helps to pass the time..but as I have found.. Bought way too much small stuff including clothes. From 00000 to 0 in 1 year is a lot of growing! Lots have not even been worn!

Oh wow u guys are organised! I have bought a pair of cute board shorts when I found out it was a boy lol! Very practical!

I'll be waiting to buy stuff. We are currently getting our unit ready to sell so we have been busy painting and have spent our Saturday's checking out places on the market to see what's available to buy. What an awesome time to move, not stressful at all lol. But we need to as we don't have much room in our little unit
