I'm finally 13w today so decided it was time to have a look at baby stuff. We visited 2 baby stores and it was quite overwhelming, especially with the prams. Any recommendations from the experienced mummas on here? We have got a high car so I was looking at only single seaters that I won't break my back lifting into the car.

We did some baby shopping today although we're not quite 10 weeks. We had to get a rail to stop my stepson from falling out of his bed! Baby bunting and toys r us have some good specials at the moment.

With prams we're looking at the strider compact. We had an original strider for step son and the only issue with that was that it was too wide. The compact one is quite a bit narrower. We also have a capsule to use with strider that my sister gave us. I really like the buggaboo donkey too but they are wide and expensive. You should be able to test a few in the bigger stores. Practice putting them up and down and lifting them. Pram choice is really personal!

We did the baby shop look this week at nearly 17 weeks... It's so overwhelming... We did decide on the pram though after many recommendations and review checking... Going the Silver cross Pioneer for sturdiness, weight, easiness to use and most of all price! It's only about $850 if you get it on sale with the bassinet
Now searching for a bassinet and a cot... Def not going expensive that's for sure

My sister gave us the bassinet she used and we have a cot already. I've been stockpiling unisex clothing since we started trying to conceive so we are pretty set with that too. It helped me have hope when everything was failing to buy the odd clothing item. I felt nuts at the time but with the ivf and obstetricians costs and the associated pay cut I'm kinda glad that's how my crazy played out! 😂

There is so much stuff out there though that it gets overwhelming!

Yep I bought a bassinet, pram, car seat, and some clothes, all before conceiving. Helped to spread out the costs over time.
We bought a cot, cube storage unit and change table last weekend. We also got a slow cooker, food processor and dishwasher. All to make life that little bit easier once bubs is here.
I've been buying some clothes here and there whenever I find something perfect.

I've just had some light pink spotting (not cramping at this stage).
I know spotting is common in early pregnancy, but I can't help but freak out!!
Fingers crossed its gone by the morning... 😔

I can understand your concern but like you say it's super common. Nearly half of all pregnancies have some sort of bleed. Keep us updated though xx
