My MS seems to be getting worse and worse as each day passes. Managed to psych myself up enough to leave the house for breakfast this morning. I feel like the most boring wife in the whole world. It took over an hour to prepare myself! I feel really sorry for hubby.

Yet to put any weight on but thankfully I'm not on prednisolone so that helps. Prednisolone made me stack on 5kgs in 4 weeks with a previous failed fet even though I was eating less. Hopefully once your nausea subsides your weight gain will even out a bit too.

Mmm, that bloated feeling isn't much fun either Mona. I haven't been able to budge the extra 4kg from DD...God I hope having twins doesn't mean another 8kg that won't budge doen the track .

Peedypie, I can empathise with, I'm super slow snail as well. I ended up having to move my doc appointment this morning as I just couldn't get myself together in time. Nausea and exhaustion are pretty good demotivators. Funny you should mention Prednisone and your previous weight gain. I'm on high dose prednisone due to immune issues, so I'm sure that is having a role to play too, but it is supposed to help suppress the nausea. Not looking forward to seeing how I feel once I wean off it. Found this web page re weight gain which was intresting.

Hopefully once you start to wean off the prednisolone, the MS will start to ease as well!

Hope so. Hope you get some relief soon too. It's all worth it, but just not much fun going through it.

Maybe that's why I had such good luck with ms, because of the pred!

Maybe MrsTugs! Prednisolone made me pretty ill too- it gave me the worst reflux. Used to burn something cruel.

I just keep telling myself that it should ease in a few weeks and until then at least I'll have reassurance that everything is progressing okay! 😊 i am still carrying extra weight so bubs will be fine and I'm keeping enough water and the supplements down. I'll have abs of steel from all the vomiting too! 😂

Sorry you're getting the hard end of things. Your body definitely has not been impressed with your IVF antics! I'm sure you'll settle into a comfortable rhythm by 12weeks-ish

Haha MrsTugs! My body sure hates the ivf process but if it can get us our much wanted baby it will be all worth it. The clinic gave me a script for Zofran wafers so if it becomes unmanageable I can use them.

Yes, Prednisone definately suppresses the morning sickness according to the specialist who perscribed it to me, but it sounds like the your body just dosen't cope well with the meds Peedypie. I hope it settles for you soon, all that vomiting is the pits - hopefully the Zofran will help. I think my nausea is still so strong because I have two. It would probably be worse if I wasn't on Pred. I had morning sickness all the way through my pregnancy with DD, so I am Just praying it's not the same this time.
