    So many bfps and positive scan results!

    I'm feeling super positive and excited today. I have my 7 week scan on tuesday which I'm a little nervous about but making an effort not to worry. BT results today were great and I didn't even ask for my numbers! I've had some pretty serious MS so I feel reassured that everything is working as it should. I also booked my obstetrician appointment for 3 weeks time. Eek! It's really happening. 😊

    I received a printed document listing all in every major hospital in the state. That was from my fert clinic.

    Hi All! And a big welcome to the newbies!! I see we have another set of twins- double the excitement I'm sure!!

    @hermia I'm doing the immune protocol- have put on about 5kgs and have a little moon face going on, but all in all I just look like I've over indulged over the Xmas period thank goodness.

    @woof5105 & @Hopeful- yay for your scans!

    Have just been for my 12w scan (at 12w6d) and all is good with the dynamic duo- hb's were where they should be and the sonographer actually commented on the smallness of the fluid filled sac at the back of the neck - round about 1-1.5mm for both- so hopefully combined with the BT results all should be good and we don't have to do any further investigations (perfect PGD'd embryo transferred so fingers crossed it all correlates).

    Twin A was naughty and wouldn't turn the right way for the whole thing so had to go the dildo cam......felt the need to apologise for its behaviour at the end! Guess I'll be doing that a lot in the near future!!

    Interested to know more about the harmony test- as I was told with twins that it wouldn't tell you too much?? On my phone so can't remember to tag the twin mummy that had it done and am wondering what the reasoning was for having it done or I I was given the bum steer??

    Anyway, hope all are doing well xo

    Hi ruby16 I'm having twins and had my harmony test today. They do a scan first check the size and heart rate then blood test. Get results in 2 weeks and will check for downs and a few other chromosomal disorders. If it comes back high risk they do more testing. Can also check the sex but only shows up male DNA so not too helpful with twins as could show male but one babe could be female. We go back for results and longer scan in 2 weeks where they take more measurements and more detailed scan. We did book in for morphology scan too for week 19. Good luck and congrats on the twins!!

    Ruby16 it was me that had the harmony test. It hink harmony is one of the only ones that you can do with twins. According to my Ob it can be a little unreliable with the chromosonal results with twins, but I was also keen to get a glimpse as to gender. Having said that, I was supposed to receive results at my 12 week scan on Monday and was advised that they had to rerun my bloods. 3 days later I was advised that the test had failed and I needed to get bloods done again. I decided after speaking to my Ob that I would not bother as my combined sults were so good and my Ob/Sonograher was able to get a sneaky peak and was able to tell us the sex of one of the twins (he said 75-80% accurate), so that is good enough for me now. I decided to get a refund.

    Yay MrsTugs! A boy! ❤ is a boy what you were hoping for or are you happy with either? My work colleagues keep asking if I want a girl or boy. I can honestly say that I'm just so excited that I'm truly happy with either.

    Default IVF Babies Due August/Sept/Oct '16

    Honestly I would have been ecstatic with either. But I've always wanted a boy first so I'm happy I got my dream.
