Default Hello I'm new and would like some advice please

I was wondering if there was a way in Australia to choose a family I felt comfortable with to adopt my baby ? I no private adoption is not legal in Australia but I would not feel comfortable not knowing we're my baby would be going I would want to be more involved for my baby's sake. I couldn't just give my child away to ppl I knew nothing about. It's something I'd thought off as in my culture abortion is not acceptable adoption isn't really either but it's still better. Thank You

I believe there are open adoption processes where you find out about the adoptive parents but I don't junk you get to choose. I do know the screening is thorough. Best place to start is by talking to your GP or midwife who can refer you to the social services involved in adoption.
