Too hot for NY celebrations for us. We are down near the fires so gives us a good reason to stay home and no questions about the drinking.

    Happy new year ladies

That sounds good @sunny79 gotta be happy with that!

Thanks @Ruby16 how is everything going with you? When's your next scan?

I had my BT yesterday and it turns out last weeks results were 362 (which meant the doubling rate had gotten better to 69hrs but obviously still not viable). Yesterday's BT was 776 so still dragging on and only just over double after a week. I have to go in on Monday for more bloods as they don't want to leave me too long at this stage and they feel if my hcg is still going up that they'll talk to my FS about doing a scan to see what's going on in there. My progesterone has dropped again and is now 20 so they seem to think that at that level, it will force my body to have a period within a week, which should see a drop in hcg. I guess it's more waiting and seeing. It's been tough, I've been feeling ok this past week but yesterday's results put me back a few notches as my body is still trying too hard with the embryo. I'm trying to take comfort in the fact that it's likely this would have worked with a different embryo since my body is hanging on but I do wish I could put this behind me. It seems I might be getting closer to that as I should either bleed soon (haven't had anymore spotting since Tuesday) or I'm guessing the clinic will want to intervene and then it will be done!

Oh @Annerley....what a bugger......goodness I hope your clinic is on the money for you, and that the drop in p4 helps to bring on ole Aunt Flo.........I know with my last MC I was seeing a naturopath who helped move things along for me with Castor oil compresses and herbs, maybe once confirmed non viable a naturopath may be able to help? Not everyone's cup of tea I know, but for me trying to avoid another D&C was the main aim. Thinking of you

AFM- I head in for another scan next Wed to see whats happening with the 3 musketeers.....expecting the worst, but hoping for the best......discharge seems to have stopped now so expecting that no 3 will no longer be viable, but really hoping that the other 2 are still ok and that they haven't been affected by the area of my uterus that was haemorrhaging....the worry never seems to end......

Here's to an amazing 2016 for all of us that are on this crappy road, and that it brings us all some much needed and wanted Luck (and baby bundles!!) .

Personally I'm glad to see the end of 2015, it was an excruciating year for me and my family and I'm happy to see the back of it!!

    XO

    Thank you everyone!

What a massive relief @MrsSMS it's great that you got the news just before New Years! Such a good time to move on and look forward!!
@Ruby16 I've been doing some reading about miscarriages and some people mentioned that herbs helped. We saw a naturopath for help with ttc, obviously it didn't work for us but we are open to the herbs. Based on your signature, you had your m/c and then took a month off before cycling again, is that right? I'm guessing that you didn't have to have a d&c? I'll see what happens if I have a scan and will look into it, thanks!
All the best for Wednesday, I'll be thinking of you! It's an exciting time hearing about all of your little ones but I can imagine how anxious you must be all the same!

Thanks @Annerley here's hoping the other two are fighters!

Have just had s quick look at my dates for my mc/ looks like I started getting red discharge on 12th may last year and finally stopped bleeding/everything on the 26th June (not normal but I had RPOC)...from memory my FS wanted me to have a normal period to get all of my hormones back on track and then we were clear to start IVF- however I think either I was away or the FS was away in August so we had to put it off until September.

Thankfully I didn't need a D&C (even though it would have been much quicker and over and done with) as I have mentioned before I am phobic about any more damage/scarring being done to my uterus....in all honesty I had actually booked in to have a D&C done under ultrasound guidance by Professor Vancaillie (Ashermans specialist in Sydney who is the only person I will ever trust with my uterus again!) as I was completely over it after 6 weeks, but all ended well with the help of my naturopath

    Hope that helps xo
