Hi Ladies, hope your weekends were good?
@Annerley....bugger, am so hoping that today's beta is a good strong one for you, thinking of you and hope you enjoyed your time away on the weekend.
@mrsthomo...double bugger, don't be too hard on yourself, we're all only human and make mistakes....and now you can enjoy a fabulous, fun filled Christmas, with lots of champagne and indulgences!!

Congrats @sunny79!! How exciting, and I love that you have named your passenger 'sparky' after the electric fence! That gave me a giggle, as does the wasps and the bike....I can't remember who that was....they are so things that I do, so it was like I was writing those stories myself!
@MrsSMS- more big hugs, but glad things are moving along for you.

Take care all, in this super busy week before chrissy! R xo

    Default IVF/FET Oct Nov 2015 #3

Both of us are fine. Husband had mild motility and DNA frag issues, but last 2 yrs the reports look normal.

Ive done HSG but not Lap/Hystero as doctors said they don't feel it's required and asked to go for IVF

IVF 1: Transferred 1, implanted, but missed miscarriage at around 5.5 weeks

FET: Transferred 2. Both didn't stick.

Now this month IVF 2: Transferred 2. Very low Beta HCG and now spotting. Most likely a miscarraige again

I am really anxious as to what's going on. Fron the look of it there is no problem with implantation. The embryos also were very good grade embryos. I have around 6 frozen embryos. But dont want to go in for another FET before knowing what's wrong.

Anyone seen such a case as mine before and what cud be the reason its happening?

When I go and meet my doc, what am I supposed to ask or suggest to him?

Pls help me out here about the way fwd. I'm turning 34 this March and very nervous!
    Hi

Id be asking for bloods done to check for any auto immune. I've just had my 4th stim cycle and I told the FS I wanted to freeze all and investigate what is going wrong so at egg collection he also performed a hysteroscopy and found my lining to be quite white which means not enough blood and this could be why no implantation. I have an appt Wed so I'll find out then what the treatment is.

It's so frustrating because you don't know what to ask to be tested for. Tanej78 suggested a test that I also haven't heard of. It's hard as you have to put all your faith in your specialist. We have changed clinics after 2 cycles and we much prefer out 2nd FS.

Once you get those beautiful kicks, you'll feel so much more reassured too, I'm sure!

I'm planning to keep my next af cycle free of any Ivf to give my body time to recover, I've also decided I'm going to enjoy the festive season and get my hair done, all things I wouldn't have done otherwise. At this stage, I'd like to get going again in Feb and not sure if the next step for us is to see the FS. Is that how it usually works, do you see the FS before going again to review what happened, etc? I do feel like it would be a good idea to meet with her.
Yes @Annerley its appropriately referred to as a WTF appt.. Mine is 18 Jan with my FS. Look out if my protocol doesn't change! Im looking at starting in Feb if anyone else is around.. xx

Thanks so much for all that @woof5105 you seem like a real wealth of info to me right now, I really appreciate it all.

@Ruby16 thank goodness I didn't end up meeting you last weekend, you would have certainly seen me at my worst. I hope everything went well in Sydney

Lol @Billie2 do you think we need a new uncursed thread or private group to kick off 2016? Good luck with your appointment, I hope you get somewhere

AFM: today's beta is 180- an 82hr doubling rate. Whilst this morning the clinic said they've seen cases where the number spikes and everything goes on as normal, they are now saying the levels will reach a certain point and drop off. I'm back for another BT on thurs as they will need to track the levels. I just don't want this to keep on going, as if I haven't had enough BTs. I worked out that the next BT will be number 13 in just over a month and I know I'll need a few more.

Am glad I can be of some help @Annerley
I feel like I have been through it all - immune reactions, miscarriages, failed cycles and chem's. Then this cycles up and down progesterone!
    Ergh!
So much so I'm still terrified about the scan on Thursday. The only thing I haven't had so far is a blighted ovum and I keep getting little voices reminding me that I haven't been through that level of hell yet ...

Sending everyone massive hugs and best wishes ... This thread has definitely had a hammering of bad news!!!

    THREAD CRASHER ALERT......

Hello to all the Lovelies on the thread😊

Just quickly popping in to post this link for the Ladies wanting to know more about Immune Issues & what tests to ask for.

Some FS believe in them & some don't so that may determine what kind of reception you'll get when you go asking about them & having tests done.

Anyhoo...here's the link to Dr Beers website for all those interested.

Wishing everyone the very best of luck with getting their BFP's asap!!!

Congrat's to those with recent BFP's too!!

    Babydust all round!!!!😊

Hi ladies, this is a post I didn't want to write but we all know things don't always go as we hope.

As some of you may remember I had a BFP from my last cycle in November. Last Monday I had my first scan & there was a heartbeat, but it was a little slow & growth was 8 days behind. I prepared for the worst & at my follow up scan today we had no heartbeat. Growth had stopped one day after my first scan. I'm feeling sad, but ok. Having a week to come to terms with the likely outcome has helped. I know miscarriages at this time are usually chromosome related, so I am trying to be pragmatic about it all. D&C tomorrow & then back to stim cycle hopefully in February.

Hoping for incident free pregnancies for those pregnant & truck loads of babydust for all of us cycling again next year. Xxxxx

@Lovebubs77 I'm so terribly sorry to hear that and will be thinking of you tomorrow. This really isn't fair and I just can't believe it! I'm so lost for words at how much terrible news had been about.
Im looking at February too and I think there's a few of us but I honestly can't even bare to use this thread for much longer. I think we all need a fresh start once 2016 comes around.

@woof5105 I have the upmost faith that this will be your take home baby. It has to be. It's completely understandable that you'd be so scared but your bad times are behind you. I know Ivf has no guarantees but besides my hubby and DD, the only thing I can think about after all this is that this is my bad luck part and it's almost behind me. What's happening now has to be one step closer to another baby for us just as your scan will be one more hurdle that you'll cross.

Thanks @sunny79 let's hope that next cycle is shorter and means less BTs.
