@Ruby16 Thank you and sorry to hear your story of past cycle. I hope if I have to freeze all, I would get good number of embryo to freeze. Fingers crossed for your line to get darker and darker everyday and you have stocky bean in there. Good luck too.

It's usually a case of quality over quantity. Apparently 11 is the golden number. One of our specialists said that there are some studies that say most retrievals yielding 8-15 eggs result in at least one live birth.

I think I missed a page when I read through last so sorry for the ladies I missed-
@Staaz congrats on the 9 eggs! That's a great number, I hope you recover well from the EPU
@ttc1981 sorry to hear about your sister, that's so sad. I agree with the others though and think just tell her the truth if she asks. Even if it hurts initially, she will probably be more upset if she thought you had to hide it from her. Such a hard situation. All the best for you beta!
@stillfuntryin sounds like we had similar numbers in our EPU
@Majeen thanks for that info, very useful!!
@Maxwellsmum how are you going? I hope it's all going working out well for you now

    Default IVF/FET Oct Nov 2015 #3

I hope not too... I'm still convinced we are till I hear the blood test result... Want to be prepared either way... How many times is this for you? I obviously haven't been on the thread a super long time... Why were you doing IVF again? You have a back up in the freezer right...

This will be my 4th- 2stim and 2 FET since may. Had an ectopic from the 1st cycle so that set me back a few months but basically I've been doing it back to back. No frozen a I'm a afraid. This wasn't a great stim cycle for me, nothing to freeze. I've decided that I've got one more stim cycle left in me for next cycle( which will I guess be any day now) and if that doesn't work I'm taking a break for a decent few months maybe even 6, just to not think about it, and start enjoying my life again! Definietly worn out.

As for why we are doing IVF there's no real reason they can find. All tests have come back good. Im 37 so didn't want to wait any longer before trying IVF and I'm away 1 week out of the month for work and it can really affect ttc naturally

How was you poas a stick this morning? Getting stronger?
