    @Annerley - yay for the big O! Wishing you all the best for your transfer.
    @Mona424 welcome! Congrats on your BFP!
    @woof5105 yay! congrats.
    @Tanej78 wow 8 fertilised out of 13 is great - my FS told me today that 60-65% fertilisation rate is average so that sounds like you’re right on target
    @mrsthomo I’m sorry this cycle didn’t work out. I hope next one is the one for you!
    @Ruby16 I’ve got my fingers crossed for you for the next few weeks!
    @MrsSMS good luck for Monday!!!

    AFM I saw my FS today (gotta love snaffling a cancellation spot - the only appointment he had left before Christmas). Apparently of our 4 embryos, 3 didn't progress past day 2, and the other one got to morula (day 4) but then didn't progress to blastocyst. The FS is thinking that there is probably an egg quality issue

    The plan is to put me on melatonin and then try again in Feb/Mar also using luveris, and bumping up the gonal-f slightly to 350. DH and I are thinking that we might do a 3-month stint of doing everything we can to make sure our egg and sperm quality are the best they can be, so I'm keen to hear if anyone has any good info about that.

    Basically if we don't get any viable embryos next time around, it will be donor eggs or adoption for us, so I'm willing to throw everything I've got at this next cycle!
    My FS put me on metformin and coQ10 which is a vitamin after I had the same thing happen. My DH also gave up smoking the next cycle was much better.

    Im sorry to hear that @mrsthomo big hugs xx lol looking for the good in everything is not a bad thing (menstrual cup reference) ... so glad you have steps forward for the next cycle...

    I don't think the medicare thing is going away completely, but im glad its been shelved for now... it sounds like there were quite a few peeps that bombarded them in the article i read! GO us...

    Its a hard thing DH being away so much, he struggles as much as I do... but then if he didn't work away we wouldn't be able to afford to cycle.... so its a catch22... This cycle looks like it might be an immaculate conception... no BD til next year I think... haha .. yea we like to pretend BD still makes some effort towards it all..

    Im with Monash but also when i cycled with City Fertilty we got photos of the embryos.
    @Ruby16 thats great news... keep growing little one!! So great to see you have good support xx
    @katt1101 nothing days are the best... except for the early start part!
    @MrsSSms counting down to Monday with you x
    @Staaz so glad you got a last minute appointment! Makes such a difference to be able to talk about what happened, and what you can do next time.. otherwise it can leave you floundering a bit... Great side effect of the melatonin is good sleep! I love it...

    AFM I know I sound like a debbie downer, I am glad we got 8 fertilised, but was really hoping for a better fert rate, esp knowing 12 were mature... we only got 2 to biopsy/PGD stage last time, and only 1 of them was normal... so its got me nervous we're in for the same again... oh well gotta stay positive..

    That's such great news @woof5105 I guess we can now say a proper congrats! Well done!

    @Staaz sorry to hear that the last little one didn't quite make it but it sounds like you've got some good plans in place. I really have nothing to suggest besides the obvious, like eating healthy, exercise, vitamins and cutting any bad habits. I'm really hoping it works wonders for you. All the best!

    So sorry to hear that @mrsthomo I wish it was better news. Thinking of you and fingers firmly crossed that this next cycle is he one for you.
    With the Medicare thing, I have a feeling that they may readdress it this time next year. Let's hope it's at least that far away and that it gets overturned again. Since I signed the petition, I was getting email updates about it the lady who started the petition said she was going to do the same next year.

    @Ruby16 it probably seems crazy as you day 1 of pregnancy would technically be before you last af but I guess that's the way it works with an early ovulation.

    @Tanej78 good to hear that you have 8 going well. Although it's a great number, I can understand you feeling concerned since you have the pgd to get through but this is a new cycle, despite what happened last time. It's getting closer to our time!

    @Billie2 and @katt1011 I hope you're going well with your embryos on board!

    Good luck with your BT next week @MrsSMS no symptoms could be a good sign since it's different to how you felt last time. I think @Majeen is having a BT on Monday as well.

    @katt1011 Congrats on being PUPO! Hope for sticky one! @woof5105 Congrats on BFP! Hope you have healthy 9 months! @Tanej78 Great number (lucky number!). Hope you have good number for PGD @mrsthomo I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you get better result next cycle. @Ruby16 Great number of HCG. Can't wait for the scan. @Staaz I'm sorry to hear that. We are all going to tough journey in different way. Best of luck with your next protocol. @Annerley Best of luck for your transfer! Can't wait for you to be PUPO.

    We have longer list of BFP in this thread. That's good.

    For me, such an exhausted and strange cycle. I had more than 40 follicles from the scan but they can only collect 14 eggs. Only 9 mature and 7 fertilised. All 7 survived day 3 but at the end I only got 2 blasts......very gutted . A little good news is one of them is grade A top quality but the other is just fair. I have freeze all cycle due to E2 level shy high and FS not allow me to put the embryos that they're going to throw in the bin since I have high risk of developing OHSS.

    Well....it's very hard journey but at least I am trying to be positive that I got 2 on ice (FS very happy with quality of one) ready for me next month and I hope it's a warrior!

    Good luck everyone!

    @Ruby16 Thank you so much! That is really sweet and it means a lot. ♡ I have absolutely everything crossed for your little one to stay put! xo
    @MrsSMS Thank you! That definitely gives me some relief. North Lakes is definitely as doable as Spring Hill. It's all the same when we have to drive 2-3 hours anyway.
    Wishing you all the best for your BT on Monday!! xo
    @katt1011 Thank you! I had a good cry and I'm okay. I even had a big glass of red with my takeaway noodles. Haha.
    Phew.
    That is wonderful about the portal and the pictures. It truly annoys me that I'm not really told anything unless I specifically ask. I hope I don't have to worry about a stim cycle until #2 but I think we will be calling myivf when the time comes!
    Hope you aren't in too much pain and have a nice comfortable nights sleep. xo
    @Billie2 Oh my goodness! Thank you so much, that really means alot to me.
    I think you are a beautiful person too! :') xx
    @sunny79 Thank you!! ♡ xxxx
    @Staaz I think sometimes we all need a little time away, all the info can be overwhelming.
    Thank you for your warm wishes!
    I'm so sorry to hear about your embryos. Sending you giant hugs and wishing you all the best in your journey to the best sperm and egg quality possible! xx
    @Tanej78 Haha! I forgot I said that. Oh dear.
    Thank you for your warm wishes. I think AF is on her ugly way already because I have cramps so fingers crossed I get to transfer this year! Haha yes go us! I felt accomplished when I got emails about me referring people to sign the petition. 😁
    I can't even begin to imagine. *hugs* we're only just scraping by tbh. The ivf has really given our house deposit a huge hit. It would definitely be nice to have more money coming in! 😊
    Thank you for the info! I think I'll have to get googling!
    I really hope that little embryo is perfect and amazingly sticky. C'monnn little one! xo
    @Apples1234 Thank you so much lovely. xo
    @Annerley Thank you for your warm wishes. ♡ My fingers are definitely firmly crossed as well! I'll definitely be signing and sharing once again. They just can't do that to us. It's already hard enough. xo
    That long list of BFPs makes me so happy.
    Congratulations ladies!

    @Legally Brown Congratulations on your embryos! I'm so glad you got two blasts and one grade A. Will you put them both back when you're ready to cycle again or one at a time?
    Sending you giant hugs and positive vibes. Wishing you all the best for a happy and stress free holidays and fingers crossed you have two warriors on your hands! xo

    I like them fighting words. Little warrior is so positive. I am amazed at how much things change from scans, to EPU to fertilisation rates, then from day 3 to 5. We have a fight on our hands each cycle. I feel very blessed that of 2 of my eggs retrieved, one fertilised and transferred. Its a little win, well actually only now am I seeing how fortunate we are.
