    Hey girls!
Jeez you lot can talk, I'm having trouble keeping up now I'm back at work!
@Tahli, those embryos look fantastic! Soooo active and beautiful to watch!
@Bongley, I'm sorry to hear about your friend going through her 5th unsuccessful cycle. It's totally crap to have spent so much money, time and emotions and then have nothing to show for it. I understand completely.
@Summer, talk to your husband about spending money on IVF. It's not about who is earning the tangible cash, you're in a partnership and you work together. You contribute greatly to the relationship. Sometimes boys forget that you don't have to contribute financially to be contributing to the family. Xxx
@SMJ, welcome to a fellow Queenslander 😃 13 eggs is VERY impressive, well done!
AFM, here's a little laugh for you! I've just returned to work after 11 weeks off while I was cycling. One of my students asked me today if I was pregnant as obviously my tummy is still protruding more than I'd like! When I said no, one of the other girls said, don't worry Miss, I like food too! Clearly I ate far too much rubbish after my BFNs!!! Time to rejig the diet and exercise regime!! 😂😂😂

Definitley if you can afford to & your embryo's are of a good enough quality to be suitable for testing both of which we couldn't do at the time unfortunately Luv.

Ladies a question about Pgd testing. Can the testing only happen on fresh embryos?

@Charlie74 really? I think now you can pay per embie for testing around 700 per embie which works out better if you only have a few. I agree its exxy.

At Monash in Brisbane I just got a bill for $1540 for the testing on two embryos. I haven't paid any upfront fee but if I book in a transfer I will get an account for about $3500 for the 'frozen cycle ' but if I don't transfer I don't have to pay it ( that what happened last cycle anyway as I paid it and then as I didn't get to transfer it got credited to this cycle).

We were told 10% was the stat for birth rate. pregnancy was 40% but I wonder how they calculate that. I had a chemical on my second last attempt so I wonder if I had quit then would they still have counted me a pregnancy success?

Phenomenal result @Charlie74! You must be so relieved. When do you think you'll do a frozen transfer? I'm absolutely thrilled for you!!

@Corbes I wish Monash had embryoscope as well. CFC seem quite confidant it's improving their success rates. A definite double embryo transfer this time. No angst ridden decision on this trip over. I couldn't use embryoscope with SD1's embryos because the dishes they use for natural fertilisation, rather than ICSI, won't fit under the embryoscope. I wasn't informed of this until day 5 and was rather unhappy at the time. It costs $450 and at the time I wouldn't have spent that on SD2's embryos as I hadn't intended on using them for myself. But of course fate has stepped in.

Now I can breathe again.. Much better blastocyst numbers this cycle for us.. Now praying the 2 biopsied are normal!

She also apologised that no one called yesterday as she'd left an obvious note asking for it to be done. She was giving me good news so I didn't care anymore by that stage
    Congrats! Great news for you@Charlie74
