    They look frucking awesome Luv!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏😊👍

The FS sounded lovely & made some good suggestions too. I used DHEA on Cycles 4 & 5 as well as Melatonin for egg quality (and all the rest of Wazza's pharmacy of supplements!!😁).

The LA sounds as though it's the same stuff they use in the dishes when doing PICSI??? Maybe it's new as I know you can't do PICSI with TESA'd sperm??? Now I'm curious!!!😁

I tell you what...in light of your sh!tty experience with your current FS, I'd be more inclined to give this one a go if he's affordable regardless of him encouraging you to stay with your current one.

Oh yes, melatonin was another one on his list. Do I just get that at a pharmacy?

Unfortunately this guy, whilst lovely, was also more expensive. He also told me that switching to a low-cost clinic would not be a good move for me.

Stoked the cakes came out as well as they did!

@Blossom74 i tend to agree with your fs sometimes a more expensive clinic can get you over the line quicker due to skills and specialised service that they offer. I find some cheap bulk bill clinics offer cheap ivf for your std normal responder who are prob a bit younger than us and dont anything outside the box. Hope that comes out the right way and doesnt offend.

No, I totally get it The next appointment will be interesting. I think if we go ahead with it, we'll have to go in with all guns blazing. And I certainly won't be proceeding with single egg pick-ups again....

No Luv, the DHEA and Melatonin have to be compounded at a compounding pharmacy and require a script here in Australia. The Melatonin you find at the chemist isn't strong enough. The usual dose of Melatonin is 1x5mg capsule at night. The DHEA is usually 75mg's a day made up of a 25mg capsule taken 3x a day.

Bugger to both of those things!!!

P.S...Some ladies order both the DHEA/Melatonin off the net from overseas websites like I-herb and have no issues getting them through customs.

Hmmm, well I have the DHEA script, and the FS told me it could be filled in Richmond and that they would post it out to me? I'll give it a crack and see how I go anyway!

@Blossom74 - it's good that you got a confirmation that your current FS is on the right track. Now you can go ahead without wondering whether you're doing everything you can to maximise your chances.

I had a discussion yesterday with my FS about dhea, saizen and melatonin. I will be starting next cycle in Dec on menopur again but this time am also adding melatonin (5mg) per day which he gave me a script for. He didn't think dhea would really help me.

Are all of these things just good for egg quality and therefore a stim cycle? I'm not sure what to start taking now to prepare for a fet in Jan. Help very much appreciated.
