Green lady sorry to hear your results. It must be a really hard time for you to get that news. What will you do now?

@Caesardust - I only had a brief chat with my FS today. Have to make an appointment to see what I do next. Will probably do one more cycle but don't know if I will have to wait until Jan to start with Xmas closure. So far it's been 3 month between each of my EPUs and if I wait til Jan that will also be 3 months. It's just so spread out and time is something I don't have. I'm just angry at the moment, angry that I can't produce a normal egg.

Hi @Green lady - so sorry to hear your PGD results. It is a roulette wheel like you've said, but the crash is so hard. It goes to show how misleading grades can be. Might it be worthwhile trying DHEA and/or other supplements in preparation for the new year? Hugs.

Hi and welcome @Gagingi and good luck for Monday. @Green lady it's good to know I guess so you didn't waste a transfer but devastating nonetheless
Welcome back @Fudge09. I've been worried about you after the tough road you've travelled. I'm glad to see your back on the wagon.

Hi@Gagingi - yes I have to have a chat with my FS about anything I can do to improve my chances. I haven't worked out yet whether he is likely to let me go down that track. I jokingly asked him today if he had any magic tricks for me up his sleeve and he said no.

Good luck for the EPU on Monday. I'm sure you'll get lots of eggs! ( I know you usually do).

Brief overview...since my last cycle and M/C in July I have had an ovarian torsion and lost my left ovary, turned 42, had some issues with my thyroid hormones and still decided to back up again for another cycle, yay for number 8!

So yesterday I had egg pickup and had 6 collected with only 2 fertilising overnight. I am not having a transfer this cycle but hoping for an FET if these little embies make it to day 5.

It is the first birthday this Saturday for our lost little baby Lewis and I am hoping that it will also signal a new beginning after a horrific last 12 months.

Has anyone posted the roll call? I would love to see how everyone is going.

I will check in and see how much I have missed. As always sending love to all you legendary girls out there.
Hi@Fudge09 - sorry to hear you've had a tough year. Hope your embies make it to day 5.

Do you think he is too conservative? I know they cannot make promises, but since swapping to Wazza we've realised how conservative our previous FS was (although absolutely lovely at the same time). The pre-cycle drugs are different, stim drugs are different, protocol for ET is different and management of the embies is different. He has also addressed issues for both DH and I that were previously missed or ignored. We haven't got a result yet, but in retrospect I think we had bugger all chance with first FS, whereas Wazza has suggested 10% chance, which is higher than the clinic's results. It is also a numbers game. Do you still have an untested frostie?

AFM. I'm eagerly awaiting Monday as I'm huge. My egg numbers have been okay, but quality is an issue. We're doing PICSI this time, so we're hopeful that will improve the fert rate.

hi @Gagingi you are very welcome to the club (that no one wants to be in!)
@greenlady oh no I am so sorry, that is awful news. Sometimes you do push back the line that you have drawn in the sand and say one more time. I've been there many times. My counselor told me it's pretty normal to change your mind a few times before calling it quits.
@Caesardust great news that you have a plan in place, I got my BFP after a lap.
@Fudge09 hellooo! sorry you are back but I'm glad all the same. Best of luck for your 2 embryos, hope this new year treats you better than the last.
