I totally agree because there is absolutely no way of knowing and its just a guessing game that way. If they did a BT midway they would be able to eliminate one reason for why the embryo may not implant.

Tomorrow will be 4dp5dt. Ive been doing POAS everyday just to see the pregynl leaving my system. I do my last pregynl injection tomorrow. I just have sore swollen boobs. I thought I had nausea today when eating and got excited but I burped and it went away lol. I'm going to keep doing POAS everyday to see if the line gets lighter or darker, I know Im a bit nutters. BT on the 18th, I was considering just doing a BT with the local doctor down in Albury/Wodonga so I didnt have to come back to Sydney for bad news being on my own but found out my father in law has decided to come down for a few days to visit my DH so Im staying away and coming back to Sydney.

Whats your next plan of attack?

Evelynmoo no harm in being nutty with wanting to see that line. I just got up to poas now. Im terrible the anxiety gets me. The fact I woke with a churning stomach and shakiness like I was going to vom must be a good sign. I havent asked to do my blood test today yet I might call my clinic this morning. I havent asked due to not wanting to come across too crazy

@MaybeBayIVF - I am currently cycling & on the same protocol as you. What is your antagonist? I am on Centrotide, but last round it was Orgalutran. I find Puregon the easiest of all injections. The pen makes it less intimidating and very quick. As mentioned bu another lady, I use an icepack, jab quick and inject really slowly. Pinch a good chunk of belly. Also seen the tip of keeping a 50c piece in the freezer and putting that on your target spot to numb it. Puregon makes me very tired and headaches. Drink heaps of water! Best wishes...x
@Meems how did your scan go? When is EPU? My 2nd scan is this morning at 7am! Im already on the train into my appt.
@mummyandMum Best of luck in your cycle!

Sorry for the bfn's ladies... Sux dirty dogs balls to get that confirmation from the clinic. I find planning ahead helped me. @Ceasardust Im so sorry..x

sorry to hear about your negative too definitely sucks! Where are you up to? Do you have some back up frosties left? I guess I'd have another internal US before cycling again. I have a couple of small endo cysts in my ovaries, which my surgeon doesn't want to touch for fear it may reduce my AMH levels. He was so sure it wouldn't grow back so quickly after my first surgery, but it did in less than 2yrs. I don't think hubby is too keen on cycling so soon though.

@Billie2, thanks for thinking of me... I had second scan on Wednesday and it was not looking good. Only had 3 follicles this time with one being 14mm & the others smaller. My specialist wanted me to keep going on the stim cycle & I have another scan tomorrow morning to see if any changes so we will see what happens. My cycle may need to be cancelled...I don't know if its worth it getting the EPU with only 3 follicles? Bit annoying but I can always give it a go another time. How are you going? Puregon makes me tired and have headaches too! Good luck today in your scan I hope all goes well keep us posted xo

@Serani, sorry to hear about your BFN.. Have you got any frosties?
Well, I treated yesterday afternoon and it was a bit darker but then this morning it still seems faint, so I don't know?! Should it be darker now?

Edit: I just compared it to the test from yesterday afternoon and they seem similar

@Meems my first cycle I had 3 or 4 potentials and my EPU still went ahead and I got 2 eggs and one fertilised beautifully, transferred at Day3 but didn't stick. I hope tomorrows scan is better for you. I am so nervous in those appts. It sets the tone for the whole cycle. You were on Elonva right? I did not respond to Elonva at all. This cycle they ditched it and I am on Puregon 250 from CD2 and still going now its CD11. That first week of stims is vital in stirring up the follies.

AFM - 2nd scan done. 1 x 18mm on Right, 4 x 17/18mm on left. (Funnily enough I am left handed). Alot more but too far behind others to bother with at this stage. Its a better result than my last cycle. I am 39 in 2 weeks, with AMH of 9.4 so I will take what I can get at this stage!

Thanks @Meshell23 I have to remember my own circumstances on these threads and not compare myself to others pulling big numbers. Thanks for the reassurance..xx

Thanks @Billie2, yeah I suppose I will just follow the advice of my specialist and see what happens. I find every appointment nerve racking its awful! I took Elonva 100 at day 2 then started Puregon 450 at day 5. Still taking the puregon 450 now, I think I am on the highest dose possible. Im 40 with amh of 2.4 so its not looking good for me. The funny thing though was that I had 7 follies on a scan done back before I even started IVF so it seems strange!
Your scan sounds like it went great, I'd be pretty happy with 5 follies and they are a nice size! When do you think you will have your EPU?
