@Meshell I really don't know, don't know if I'm reading into everything too much, have had some mild cramping on and off but I think it could be to due to all of the hormones that have been going through my body, this is my first Ivf cycle.. Will you? How are you feeling?

@Annie85 If it does end up being 2 then at least you know those 2 are little fighters and of the best quality possible. Good luck for tomorrow!!! Do you know your BT day?
Not sure what day BT will be yet, hopefully they tell me tomorrow

Just had a chat to my clinic - They charge almost $3k for an FET cycle (OOP $2k) Apparently if it's the FET following a medically indicated freeze all cycle, then they give us a $500 discount. The $8k we pay upfront for the stim cycle doesn't include a transfer anyway, that's a couple of hundred dollars extra we have to pay in a fresh transfer cycle. And from now on it'll be almost $1000 extra upfront per stim cycle because we'll need to use ICSI.

Sigh! The costs are crazy for this stuff aren't they? And they talk about it all like it's chump change when they're giving you the prices.

Hill dweller - is that amount for a fet the price after you have reached your medicare threshold?

We just paid $3,800 for our FET plus $330 hospital fee but it's our first for the year so no medicare limit and don't have private health at the moment.

It's sooo expensive isn't it, especially when for those ladies that do cycle after cycle.

Is anyone with the bulk billing clinics?

@Annie85 good luck for your ET tomorrow. @Meshell23 i brought a few hpt too but im scared about getting a false positive and considering waiting till blood test.

My blood test is booked for 19th.
Has anyone else had a 3dt? did they freeze remaining embryos on day 3 or let the grow to day 5?

From what I read about 2 days or 36-48 hours after transfer of a day 5-6 blastocyst.

No I dont want surprises at blood test so I feel if I get the result first I feel like its me being in control weird I know. I have just changed over to bulk bill over which are through life fertility at spring hill in brisbane. A full cycl3 cost $500 epu $445 for icsi $160 for trigger then script fees it cost me under 1200 they freeze all and your fet is bulk billed you just pay script fees. We do ivf due to mfi so I can go through a no frills clinic I dont need any extra attention.
