@Mink, I'm at IVF Australia. So when I had my first stim cycle in October we knew and planned for it to be an all freeze cycle because of the risk of OHSS and that we would implant a frozen embryo the following cycle. So during the stim cycle I was charged the usual $8k for a full stim cycle and then when i transferred an embryo a month later I didn't have to pay anything because during a usual stim cycle you end up transferring an embryo anyway.

I dont know if thats how it works with every clinic but thats what was planned for me. I have private health insurance so I dont have to pay for any hospital admission costs either.

Thanks! That makes complete sense now. I think I might do a freeze all the next stim cycle, just to let my body settle down after all the drugs. Good luck with your ET on Monday! Hope it's a sticky one

How many eggs did you get? (Sorry, I'm terrible keeping track). After my first EPU I couldn't walk straight for almost two days (got 18 eggs) and hurt every single time I had to pee. Transfer was cancelled because of high risk of ohss.

    Default IVF/FET Jan Feb 2016

Hi ladies well my HPT was a bfn as expected and AF is here in full force 😥 so off to the clinic on Monday to collect all the meds to start my 4th full stim. I'm excited and over it all at the same time.

    Anyone else starting this week?

Good luck to everyone in their 2WW 🙌

Did you ring the nurses and see what they said?

I was still testing a faint positive on a FRER 5 days after my last pregnyl booster, I think those tests are very sensitive though

@two souls that was a internet cheapie which was useless. I've done a frer this morning and 2nd line is there clear as day. Going to test out the pregnyl each day now till bt on Friday.

Sorry to hear about your result. Glad you've already got plan b on the way.
