    Hi @Ashe87
Have you done your egg pick up (EPU) yet?
If not, 19 is the number of eggs you have.

My FS (and I think most) writes the number of eggs collected on a tape and sticks it on your palm so when you wake from the anesthetic, you look at you Palm and know you how many you got
The lab will then call you a few times over the next few days to update you on the progress of the fertilization.

For me, I had 12 eggs collected, 8 fertilized but in the end there was only 4 usable embryos (1 fresh transfer and 3 more frozen) so for me it was a third

    Everyone is different though.
    Goodluck!!!

Thank you, yes I know, that's why I said 19 follicles, not sure how many eggs I will get out of that and then how many will be fertilized etc being my first cycle just wanted an idea of what to expect!

    Sorry @Ashe87, I thought I read '19 embryos'.
I ended up with a third

@Ashe87 everyone is different but 19 is an awesome number. You should be really happy. I'm guessing from your title you are quite young too so chances are you have good quality eggs there too. On my first cycle I got 8 eggs, 6 fertilised and none made it to day 5. On my second and third I got 10 and 9 eggs. Around 6-7 fertilised and transferred 1 fresh and ended up with 2 to freeze on day 5 on both cycles. Wishing you luck with your opu.

I got 10 eggs from EPU, 6 fertilised, 4 made it to day 5. We currently have two frozen, our first transfer didn't work and our second is our lovely DD!

A great increase from my 9 last week!

What's the normal rate for drop off? Wondering what to expect for the next stage.. Will I get any to freeze?!
That seems like a great number Your likely to get some to freeze. It seems like the drop off rates really vary but seems to be around half. I had 28 eggs - 19 were mature - 18 fertilised - it went to 13 on day 3 then ended up with 9 blasts to freeze.
