    Billie synarel is a nasal spray which blocks brain receptors that tell you to ovulate. Its used in place of an antagonist injection the process is called a down regulation cycle

    @Mink just a thought since u have endo as well. My specialist suggested to me at the start going on medication for 3 months to put my body in menopause which essentially kills off any endo which can hinder things & they've had patients go though Ivf after that & had success. Have you heard of this ?

    I dont think ive heard of this. It sounds similar to a long protocol some women talk about where their period is suppressed (or something like that) is that the same thing? I'll definitely be bringing this up with my FS next time I see him. Surely he's aware of this sort of thing considering he's an endo specialist too. Is this the protocol you used? You give me hope Lexy, being in a similar situation to me

    @Caesardust how many days did it take pregynl to be out of your body completely based on POAS sticks?

    PS Happy V Day to all. Were not doing anything special, just a picnic in the national forest and I said I didnt want/need any gifts, a huge BFP would be the best post V day present possible!!!!

    Default Hello

    Hi everyone - first time poster! So I'm currently in a cycle and although very supportive none of my friends or family have had personal experience with IVF and I thought I could turn to you ladies for that added support and comfort. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself. Hope you all have a great day
    xx

    Yeah sounds similar but u do actually have menopausal symptoms like hot flushes etc. I was keeping it in mind for down the track if it didn't work a couple of times. I'm sure your doc would know about it too x

    Welcome @JoWags

    Happy V Day to all you ladies. We are actually doing something special tonight (my phone just tried to autocorrect that to "sexual tonight" which is a cruel joke since AF arrived this morning!!! Lol). We never usually do much for valentines, DH usually cooks me a nice dinner, but I decided after our disappointing round of IVF we'd splash out a bit. A beautiful restaurant near us was having a special thing - champagne, 3 course meal, bottle of wine and the owner of the place will pick us up and drop us home in a Maserati convertible. I'm a tad excited Where we live it's a job and a half to get a taxi to come out so we don't usually get to both have a drink on a night out!

    @Billie2 abstinence is the go in my house currently as well with the 2WW. Good luck tomorrow!!!! Enjoy the great sleep.
    @HillDweller Masarati sounds amazing!!!!

    Hi @JoWags how is your cycle going thus far, where are you up to in the cycle?

    AFM:AF is supposed to be due on Tuesday or Wednesday and although I'm really really trying to be positive I feel as though its on its way. I usually get teary easily and angry easily 3 days before AF and that started today. I havent been like that the last few days. Boobs don't hurt as much as they were hurting before and I'm not as hungry as I was the last few days, instead bloating has set in which is the usual for me couple of days pre AF. Really incredibly trying to stay positive and ignore the pre AF symptoms. POAS shows that Pregynl is still in my system but its slowly draining. I'm actually dreading POAS now.
