You cant ever compare with ivf I am 29 with an amh of 49. So I am opposite end of scale but my frustration is of the 6 cycles I have had 2 cancelled due to hyperstimulation and 2 cycles that failed were very low response ( only one egg) due to my medication being dropped to 75iu of fsh. Big numbers dont mean a thing think of it as the egg quality is being spread out over a large number of eggs doesnt necessarily mean they will be good aim for a few that will be beautiful quality

@billie, 5 follies sounds great, quality over quantity! Do you know when your EPU will be?
@Meshell I used my FMU this morning, it's definitely darker then the first photo I posted.. I still can't help but think it's not right? Should be the line be a lot darker and a more similar colour to the control line? AF hasn't arrived which I suppose is a good sign as today is 14 days since my EPU..

@Ash87 @Meems @Meshell23 I will get a call this afternoon but I have already taken Mon/Tues off in anticipation. Monday will be CD14. I feel for the ladies in their 20's needing IVF. At least you have the knowledge though and youth is so important in ttc. My son was conceived at 29. I was oblivious about infertility then.

Wishing everyone on here a Christmas of 2016 to remember with a baby in our arms..👶

Thanks @Meshell23 that is reassuring! I suppose it only takes one good egg & one good sperm to make a healthy baby

I found out we needed ivf due to husband sperm not being of best quality when I was 23 we need icsi we were building our firat house and had just gotten married we didnt have spare funds for ivf. My first cycle was through monash and cost me 8k thankfully I found low cost clinics and conceived my son when I was 25 had him a week after I turned 26 I always wanted 3 children and before 30 I am 29 now so it looks like I will have 2 by 30 but I will be happy with that I may have another in another 5 years when children are in school

I have been on the ivf train for long enough I have seen so many scenarios women conceiving firat go women having a little longer to wait. As hard as ivf is just remeber why you are doing it and the result you will achieve modern day medicine is pretty amazing.
