I'm all for it. I understand it's each parents right to do as they wish but the fact of the matter is that non vaccinated kids pose a threat to mine so anything the government can do to halt the spread of disease is a win in my books.

I like to think of vaccines to viruses like a condom to unwanted pregnancy Not quite 100% effective, but pretty darn close & you will get the odd unwanted pregnancy, but you're definitely more protected with one than without!

I'm ok with it as long as there are exemptions for those with diagnosed (by a doctor) medical issues. If there was any validity to the anti-vax movement no doubt a lawyer somewhere would take on the new laws. Which they haven't.

I don't know that they recommend it. I went with Genea. They offer it. They'll make money on it. But you actually ask your FS and they'll say there's no science behind it but do what you want. If it improved your chances it would be part of the protocol.

From what I've heard, medical exemption is the only way to be unvaccinated and still get paid.

And that's fair enough. I think that's fair.

So this only affects childcare benefit and rebate and the Ftb a supplement?
So a family that doesn't vaccinate still gets Ftb b, Ftb b supplement, Ftb a, large family supplement etc?
If they do t send their kids to daycare they only loose an end of year supplement?
