I'm a bit better now, thank you. And thank you to you all for the supportive messages. It broke my heart and I did so much crying I could've filled a lake. We are going to do one more round, which is what DH and I had agreed upon before starting (I didn't want to do IVF at all - I even had two hypnotherapy sessions just to change my mindset about it). We will probably change clinics, but won't make that call until the follow up appointment with our FS when she visits Port Lincoln in two weeks time. We have a lot of questions and are desperate for answers. If she can't provide them, we'll change to another clinic, Flinders Fertility, which also looks less expensive.
We are also going to attend an info session on intercountry adoption in Adelaide next month. However, that can take years and I don't want to wait that long to become a mum. So, we've been looking into going o/s for an egg donor as a back up plan in case the next round doesn't work. South Africa or Prague look the best options to me. DH really wants a child that is genetically his, whereas I've always wanted to adopt, so it's not as crucial for me that the child be genetically mine. I would love any child that becomes mine, regardless of how he/she/they come into our lives. @Tinachris How are you feeling about your next round? Do you roughly how long it is until you start your injections?

Yes it's an emotional ride. I completely understand what you mean. Crying is good. Yes, this whole thing makes me want a crystal ball so I can see where all this is headed but unfortunately it's not that easy.. Yes adoption would be awesome if it were easier for Australians to access but the many years of waiting to be possibly selected have really turned me off. There are a lot of threads on here you might find interesting and helpful on egg donors. I'm hoping you get the answers you need from your specialist. Just remember when looking at new clinics to check success rates.
I'm not sure when my new cycle will start. Depends when I get AF as they like you to start on day 2. Depends if it comes before or after my new specialist appointment. If after I probs won't start till next AF in March. They can make your AF arrive if you take Provera for a week, so you can begin a cycle whenever you want. However I went on Provera in December to force a period but that cycle got me one follie! So I reckon I can't force my body to do what it's not ready for. Take time out for yourself the next few days. The disappointment after all that hard work is sh&tty.

    Hi ladies

Can I join you on the first round of IVF.

I start my synarel on the 13th of Feb and puregon on the 27th of Feb.

My egg collection is booked for March 9th all going well.

DH and I have been TTC for 3 years with 2 losses at the very start. We have done several rounds of clomid with no success.

I have a blocked right tube and PCOS. So figured we'd just go straight to IVF.
