hi @babypanda (sorry I thought I'd pop in) my clinic tells me to take the meds until the course has finished, which is horrible when you get your period. Clinics all have their different protocols though. Are you bleeding heavily? Also when I got my BFP I got my 'period' (for 4 days), turned out to be breakthrough bleeding but I know this is unusual.

@babypanda def keep taking them. You can bleed while pregnant so better to be safe and get a blood test before you stop. Hoping that is all it is but sending you hugs xoxo

Default NOV/DEC 2015 IVF Cycles and transfers (double embrie friendly)

Hi @AngelK33 lovely to have you join us. It's a tough road isn't it!! I find it helps to have the Bub hub community to talk to. Unless you've been through it it's so hard to understand the struggle. I've just had my 4th stim for the year and I decided to freeze all and get some investigations going before I transfer again. Plus I needed a break! The ladies here are lovely and you learn so much. X I don't know much about PCOS myself but I'm sure there will be others that do.

I am 33 and living on the Gold Coast.. I have ttc for nearly 8 yrs now, with four miscarriages, the recent being in October this year.. I have seen a specialist and I have been diagnosed with PCOS.. He has also put me on metformin and advised me to see a naturopath in the new year.. 😊 also hoping that hopefully that approach will bring me luck so I don't have to go full ivf..

Any advice or success stories would be great.. I am also open to suggestions..

    Hi!

I also have been on metformin my only advice to you is always take them with food and be very careful what you eat. I found I couldn't eat very much dairy, I could have some milk in my cereal in the morning but a yoghurt or cheese had me finding a bathroom about 2 hours later. We did have excellent results during a stim IVF cycle using the metformin, to help create better quality eggs. I have poly cyst ovaries but no the syndrome I create a lot of eggs but the one a that I create aren't that great with out medications. I had found acupuncture helped keep me calm and relaxed and also helped with some of my stomach issues. Hope so of this helps.

@MrsTomo yeah red flags going up here too. I has a message on my phone yesterday arvo from the nurse that gave me the bfn news. My FS has recommended another specialist - I guess he didn't like my input

Just feeling so lost right now. I am torn between trying so hard and not wanting to be with wrong FS. But I don't know what's wrong as I have no input. The nurse I spoke to is back on 24th so will have a heart to heart with her and try and come up with plan of action. U would think getting pregnant is the hardest bit, but right now is not having any control or input to my medical situation that is making me even more upset. Just need to feel involved and not another lab rat 😃

To all u gals that have been doing this longer than I, my hat off to u all, this is bloody murder lol
