    never thought of it sounding like Algebra lol

    Oops, I thought it was Greek for some reason, it is Italian (I just looked it up) and it means Joy.

    I can't decide bw Allegra or Alessia
    Both are lovely but I like Allegra more. Have you said them out loud with the surname and a middle name if you're having one? Does one sound/flow nicer than the other?

    @Lauzy yeah I'm constantly
    saying it out loud and both flow very nicely with the surname. won't be having a middle name we don't use middle names. so that makes it easier lol

    and yes it means JOY. which is why I love it even more.

    I love it. I knew a little Italian girl with that name and she was just gorgeous.
    I agree it is quite a strong name too, but I like that about it.

    I don't think it sounds like Algebra. Both names are lovely, but I probably like Allegra more as I think Alessia would get confused with Alyssa a lot (I do think Alessia sounds beautiful though).

    originally I wanted Alyssa but then my cuz named her daughter that so I just didn't feel right naming mine that too so decided on Alessia. but then I heard Allegra and I just think it's more unique than Alessia.
